i only came here once and i could immedaitely tell that this arcade was in bad shape. for ppl who don’t know, gene is really trying his best to fix the sticks in playing order for ALL games by constantly harassing the nickel staff.

BTW: Are they still trying to sell that 3S cab? If they are, I had plan on buying it sometime next month. Last time I was down, NC wanted like $1K for it.
Since this is being pushed back to fix sticks, lets take this extra time to prepare even more. I’m sure that I can get that day off (whenever that will be) so I can start creating the brackets for MvC2. I see a list of people willing to enter, but they don’t mention exactly what games.
If everyone can edit their post or create a new one with the following info, this will help me with managing the participants in the tournament maker bracket.

Edit: The flyer says .15 per bout, so that means this is pay per play or will the cabs be set for event mode? It wasn’t mentioned with the other details in the first post of this thread so I wanted to make sure. Thanks

The sticks will never ever be fixed and that is a fact. The owner of Nickel is the biggest cheapass known to man. He charges his wife 2 dollar entry. He won’t fix the sticks because as long as the machine is on, its working.
Also, for future purposes, don’t throw a tourney if you aren’t going to run it, or atleast ask people to run it before you make some huge post about it.

Does it matter that the tournament got postponed? Not really, It’s better he stopped it now than waiting for us to get there and saying he couldn’t get the sticks fixed.
