Hey everyone. Not sure why the information above became one big paragraph. I think SRK is bugging on me. Anyways, all the information in regards to the fighting game tournaments will be on the Facebook event’s page. Please see the “Pinned Post” on the event’s page. Thanks

Prizes for UMvC3 and AE is now up!

Comment removed.

If you pre-register, its $20. At the door is $30. Yes, you get registered for both days but saturday’s tournament is not a continuation of friday’s tournament.

We extended the pre-reg badges until March 9!

Update!<div><br></div><div>We’re changing Friday’s tournament to a pot tournament! More information coming soon!</div><div><br></div><div>Tournament and convention scheduling will be up shortly!</div>

hey harry i have a ton of questions and i emailed the LoL address but thought i’d post here for you instead.

  1. if i enter both fighting games and LoL, is there leniency in not meeting tournament times?
  2. is LoL tourney a completely separate event that you have to pay 20 additional dollars to enter? no middle ground on participants who are already paying 30 for the competitor badge?
  3. is 20$s per team or per user?
  4. do they have any estimates on # of teams entered? that would be a big deal in figuring out how long the tourney would last. if 10 teams entered, even a single elim is going to take upwards of 12 hours.
  5. for fighting games, are sticks provided?

see you next saturday!

  1. Yes, it will be extremely extremely difficult to enter both fighting games and LoL.
  2. All badges gives to access to both day’s of the convention and its general amenities: Panels, artist’s room, anime showings, tournament spectating, and Maid and Butler cafe.
If you pay $30 for the fighting game badge, you cannot enter LoL and vice versa.
  3. $20 Per Person
  4. We capped the teams at 8. As for the current number of teams entered, I’ll ask the LoL coordinator.
  5. Sticks are not provided. BYOC.

Tried to update information but SRK just bugged on me. Trying to fix it now.

sorry for the difficulties everyone. not sure why it became one huge paragraph…

is it too late to get pre-reg badges???

Will players get paid out the same day? And to clarify, the pot bonus (ie 1st $1000 ect.) will be on Saturday, correct?

Tomorrow is the last day to pre-register.

Players will be paid out on the same day. It is not a pot bonus. First, second, and third will get their winnings at a flat amount of $1,000, $500, and $250. I hope that’s clear!

Let me know if you have any more questions

Another question:

What happens if we only have like 10-15 people in the tournament(s). Will the prize stay the same (ie 1k for first place AE/UMVC3)?

@HarryFTB - I’ve went ahead and added you on facebook. The only ticket available through Amtrak ARRIVES @ 12:50PM and it takes about 13 minutes to walk to the venue. Can I still secure a spot via purchase of a badge or will I not be on time to enter the tournaments?

:)) I had a lot of Good Games at Good Game Con. Very legit and lots of really good prizes can’t wait for the next one
