I really hope RE4 Mercs has online play.
I personally wouldn’t mind an RE collection of those 2 games in HD. Playing them on our PS2 with our HDTV leaves much to be desired visually speaking ^_^;
At any rate my bro will be pleased with this.
Coming from a ex-competitive Mercenaries players I would love if Capcom could at least put an online leaderboard for RE4:Mercs. Only way to compete with the best in that game is to have a capture card. :shake:
If it’s not a REmake, then I won’t really care. I already have two copies of RE4 and one of CV with a perfectly good fatty PS2.
ive never beaten CV, but I know what happens storywise so this like a major killer for me, ill have to pass on this unfortunately having beaten RE4 multiple times on all consoles even PC 
unless cashcom offers something unique and new
I would fucking love Capcom if they gave up REmakes of CV:X and RE3, I would be so happy ;_;
I’m still waiting on my RE2 REmake, I’d be all over that like a fat kid at a buffet. Favorite game, and out of all the titles it really deserves the REmake treatment, hell I’d be fine if they just pulled a RE4 style OTS camera for it.
If it’s not just a high res graphics version of the games, I’ll get it. But if they are just prettied up ports then yeah no, I have both already.
Any new news on RE: On a boat II and Mercs? When they release is when I’ll pick up a 3DS, hoping for an Umbrella 3DS bundle.
If they take all the other RE games that haven’t been remade, and made them OTS with the same maps and item drops, I’d be one happy fucker, but that would never happen.
Meh, I’ll get my hopes up for that game when ACTUAL info comes out.

That would almost be to much star power in one epic game, if they tossed Barry in though I’d have a heart attack of all the amazingness.

EDIT: Well that info was fast. RE4 and RE:CVX are being rereleased as downloadable titles on PSN and XBLA with upgraded graphics and trophy/achievement support.
Eh lame, if RE4 doesn’t have MP Mercs or online leaderboards I’ll most likely pass.
I really don’t listen to anything Craptaku has to say, and that game idea kinda seems like crap to me. Why would Umbrella forces have an all out gunfight with U.S. forces when they were sent in to repair their public image/test new B.O.W.'s?
Team members names suck as well, and I’ll probably relate to them as well as I did with team Reach. I.E., I want them all to die.
But they are being remastered. I’m hype for Code: Veronica X (my 2nd favorite RE)
Remastered is a pretty word for “We are upgrading the graphics a tad”. I have two copies of RE4, and one of CV already. I am only interested if they add something new to the games in a more significant way.
Right now it’s just a way for Capcom to make dat money, honey.
Picked up RE 5 Gold. Someone may be coming over to play it(co-op) today. If not with my sucking at RE in general and shitty AI, this isn’t gonna be fun.
Just read…and I’m glad I flew my plane low on this one. I already have the game on GC and on Wii and after playing the game with motion controls, clearing up the game a bit moreis probably not gonna do it for me to drop the money on it. I love RE4 to death and the game has aged quite nicely over the years but I feel like I need at least a couple more incentives for me to buy it again. I’m not expecting capcom to give any either.
CVX is my favorite of the franchise actually, hella pumped.
And they’re going to fucking get it.
