Damn I missed 15 pages of this! Well after briefly reading alot of ppl are shitting on The Outbreak RE’s and first off Outbreak was never intended to be a full fledge story but more of a spinoff to the series. Something like Silent Hill Chronicles it was mean to show what happened to to Racoon Citazen Civilians and from they’re perspective.
Yes the story was a little lacking but it was ** different** and was intended more for online play. Personally I didn’t think the Outbreak story was** THAT** bad but thats just me. I found it interesting how they killed off Cindy (storyline) in File 2. Got crushed by an Elephant! heh
As far as the rest of the series go. Yes MOST of RE 3 took place before 2. The first 3 RE’s are the best to me because part 1 had a scare factor to it (first time around) that all the other RE’s with the exception of 2 and 3 didn’t have, but capcom has long strayed away from the scary aspect of re anyway after 3. Thats why I love Silent Hill over it so much but thats another story.
To me its in this order RE2 …RE1… RE3… RE 0…Code Veronica…RE 4
Resident Evil 4 is and always will be a big disappointment to me I was a little disappointed with Code Veronica but they kept all the elements of zombies, Bio weapons etc. there so that was good.
Also the Gun Survivor games aren’t that bad, yeah its no House of the Dead but at least they tried.
I know a few of those people that you play with(If not all of them)die.You play as the Black cop that ended up turning to a zombie in RE:2,and I think the Asian woman ended up being experimented on.
Not really that bad of an idea.

While I wouldn’t have too much beef with them having made it on PS2, we would never have the insanely awesome RE4 (instead we’d likely have that tired ass early version of RE4 that they scrapped completely due to total suckage) if not for them trying it out on GC. For that, I say it was worth it.
all I want to know is…RE4 Wii Version…is it what I hope it is? superior GCN (or better) graphics, the real time cutscenes again and the extras of the PS2 game?

Not too much difference graphically, but a small improvement over GC’s version…coupled with the real-time cutscenes of the GC version and all the PS2 extras.
So yes, it’s everything you hope it to be.

Now if you know your RE you know when you aim you actually move slightly, he does that for the whole frigin game lol right upto the end before the lab blows up he runs then because he has no choice either that or get blow to bits
Gamecube fanboy? lol erm I own a PS1 and PS2 and plenty other consoles in the past, like I also said a few pages back I like the games, I could care less what their on, If the the whole collection was on PS2 then I would have it on that, if it was on Xbox I would have it on that, people that buy consoles out of some kind of Loyalty are fucking dumb, just as equally as somebody that wont buy a console because its made by Sony or whoever.
If you cant afford the console fair enough I can understand, thats why I dont have a PS3 too much for me.

Yes your right and thats why Capcom have gone multiformat DMC4, RE5 and most likely their other games, since Sony have out priced the PS3 for many people.
I know some people just want PS3 for MGS4 and FF erm god knows what number Im not that into that but that game too.
It wouldnt surprise me If Konami also went multi format, in the end this is only good for us

Asian Chick was actually experimented on before hand. She ended up having some part in the Tyrant’s creation I think. The problem is we have no canon idea of who survives and who dies. Cindy and David (I think) are possibly the only playable characters we see “die”. The most logical ending would actually tie into the fall of Umbrella with Asian Chick testifying in court against them and Journalist reporting the story.
Marvin is a bonus character, so he doesn’t really count. You can also play as Ben from RE2.
Bill_Rizer - I see your point, but to be honest I’m happy people didn’t buy RE Gamecube in general. Shows that Capcom shouldn’t place their trust in Mikami all the time, especially since he wasn’t even particularly involved in the better games of the series (2 & 3) at the time. The fact that both REmake and Zero were overly tedious, slow and hard to control made me regret buying the damn thing in the first place. RE2 and 3 remakes would’ve just been disappointing.

Seriously though I would probably play that game just to control Marvin and Ben. I’ll call them Team It Sucks Being Secondary Characters in RE2. Good times.

Hmm you have a point but the games were getting stale even if Zero and Remake were on ps2 they would still be the same, the series was comming to a end.
Like someone mentioned before Zero/Remake laid down the foundations for RE4, so in the end thats a good thing.
He probably just tapped the walk button faintly and Leon or Claire just simply slide. If you do it with the right timing, they just look like they glide across the screen.
Not that I’ve played that way before…
But I have heard of someone who beat the game in good time walking backwards and using just a knife. And thank goodness the elite stalker Mr.X isn’t smart enough to walk down a flight of stairs. Must be all those walls he’s busy crashing though. When you play the HUNK minigame and you make it to the 2nd floor of the RPD on the side near the S.T.A.R.S. headquarters, you can simply turn and walk down that small set of stairs and turn around and admire his stalking for as long as you want.
Yeah that sucks. But I’m a bit curious about the whole Zombie Zoo scenario. Might be fun. I would buy the game if it was 5 bucks or something, maybe.

No doubt YouTube has some interesting RE feats. Some guy kills Tyrant with a knife in RE1 by just walking in a circle with him, I don’t think I’d have the patience to even want to sit and do that.

WOW! The new RE 5 trailer made me stand up in excitement! Too awesome. I need to watch it again. Pretty much came out of nowhere in the MS press conference and I thought it was MGS4 at first.
Chris Redfield confirmed, I noticed the STARS emblem on his sleeve. This made my E3.
