Had and beat the game on 360. My 360 is now gone and I was planning on picking up the gold edition for PS3.
I doubt it for the Mercs stuff. Considering the new chapters take place during the fifth chapter of the game I’m not so sure. Those are all about Jill as she comes to from being brainwashed.
Lots of questions surrounded this stuff with only like 5 days to go.

I did beat the “Lost In Nightmares” scenario on Professional (beating the damn thing a total of 3 times, solo’d Pro mode fucking Jill AI just would not cooperate at all.) so yeah, its not really all that hard if you play it correctly, shit. You don’t even have to fire a single bullet until the boss fight(even then, it’s probably optional).

I just thought about how Rebbeca was 17 during RE1 and by today’s timeline she’s roughly 29-30ish now. How time flies. I think Ada was 24 in RE2 and she’s around 36-37 now, if they keep the timelines current with coming RE games. She’ll be knocking on 40 by the next one.
lost in nightmares is fucking AWESOME. i actually was scared and shit! capcom really outdid themselves and brought back the old school RE style and even the old school ways of opening doors. if you’ve never played LiN, do yourself a favor and play it with someone who hasn’t played it yet either it really enhances the experience. as for the mercs reunion, barry has a one hit k.o on like every melee. WTF.
also, i like a lot of excella’s melees too. i need to figure out how to really use first aid because the majini blows up after she injects it with uroboros which could help you (blowing up surrounding majini) or hurt you (blowing you or your teammate up).
