you get fucked up in re5 professional mode if you’re not careful. any random thing that majini throw at you is like insta-death
or one will run at you and grab you, while another one nearby will hit you then you’re pretty much dead

I still say Leon and Chris need to fucking team-up for a RE game. Can you imagine the fucking insanity?!? It would be like Tango & Cash all over again, only except no one would survive. Matter of fact, I think the reason why we haven’t seem then team-up is because no one has designed a console that could handle that much coolness. RRod and YoD out the wahzoo.

Probably somewhere between 98-110.00%. Capcom will whore out that game to every console possible. They’re probably planning or working on a port as we speak and no one’s mentioned it yet.
I have them all but RE3. Until Capcom decides to just completely REMake RE2 and RE3, the graphics aren’t going to look any better than they did on the GC releases - 360 or PS3. I’m happy with these until the day comes.
I wasn’t a huge fan of CV myself. I mean, it was more fun that RE3, but I never had the craving to go back and play CV again like I did with RE2, REMake and RE4-5. I played it enough to get all the optional outfits and weapons and turned it off.
BAM! Right there. REZero was terrible. I liked the character zapping system, but the game was just boring. People think RE4-5 aren’t scary? They forgot about Zero - only saving grace was that it had zombies.
Doesn’t mean it still wasn’t the best damn chapter in the entire series.
I always felt RE4 was like the second coming of Christ. But the dead were Guanados, and Leon was really only missing the beard.
RE Zero made the most sense as a side chapted in Chronicles.
Shit needed more crimson heads, IMO.
The reason people like RE4/5 is because they’re not Survival Horror games…
You might as well say god of war or devil may cry are survival horror games.
There’s no limitations, there’s no restrictions, you basically have infinite ammo, you KILL everything instead of having to run away. No puzzle solving, no exploration, no sense of adventure.
Don’t get me wrong as I own RE4 on 4 fucking platforms and I played the game to death, but I wouldn’t say Halo is the best Mario game released, even if they put Mario in the title.

just got done with resident evil darkside chronicles. this game is inferior to resident evil umbrella chronicles by far. however, playing this game reaffirms why code veronica fuckin owns and why re2 sucks ass (at least when compared to the other main re games besides re0). the weapons in re: dc is a MAJOR downgrade from re: uc. no new weapons aside from the bowgun and linear launcher, grenades were nerfed and weapons were taken out. the bowgun is a fun weapon but doesnt make up the loss of other weapons. at least they could have multi flavored grenades or the spark shot but none of that exists. aside from that, theres a lot of grammar problems in the game. the game feels rushed. what i dont get is why doesn’t explosive weapons gets refilled by the end of the chapter yet other guns do?

RE3 was my favorite too. it just felt smooth and had the perfect balance or difficulty, backtracking, enemies and story. I loved making my own ammo and I like the manual dodge feature rather than the stupid command prompt bullshit in games these days.

Damn, Capcom’s really pouring on the extras for this release. I couldn’t think of a character that I’d like to least play than her but then again I just couldn’t get into Mercenaries Mode.
I really wonder how much this DLC is gonna cost. If it’s gonna cost as near as buying the disk version I rather just pick up the disk ver.
Last I heard was 400 points for each episode ($5). Now I don’t know how they are handling the merc stuff though so this could turn into 800 points for everything ($10 which still isn’t a bad price for two whole chapters and new merc stuff). Here’s a sexy screenshot of Gionne. I like that she gets the triple shot pistol. By the time I got it my other weapons were making short work of the baddies anyway.
I still wish we could get characters from outside the RE5 story like Hank, Leon, and Claire. Hell, a machete wielding (just replace the stun rod with a machete and beef up the damage to magnum levels) Tofu would be bad ass too.
Who’s Hank? And yeah, I’d like to see Leon and Ada appear as playable Mercenary characters.

Im already getting the Gold Edition(seeing as how I havent brought Vanilla RE5 on ps3 yet)…Id rather have a full disc then DLC…I wish they would have done something new with Versus…
