spiders are so lame, they don’t even grab you…just spit poison at you. poison that can easily be dodged at that
plus to be as big as they are, they’re awfully slow to attack. i’ve ran by those giant spiders in the sewers in re2 like in every single playthrough and i’ve gotten poisoned like maybe twice.
I didn’t find RE5 to be scary or that difficult really. Ok, well that’s partly a lie… the old man El Gigante you fight with the gun turrets on professional was frustrating as hell for me.
imagine that i configured my open-door button on “e” and call-partner button on “f”
so i got this during the QTE , press E + F , and then A + D …
at 1 point , i miss-pressed A+F E+D , GOOD BYE 50% HEALTH .

oh important question regarding fighting old-man-gigante in RE5 , HOW the fuck you stop him from using the ROck boulder withough using the Barrel Explosion ?
shoot at the rock ? or shoot at him before he tosses ?
Shoot him before he tosses. You can get through that entire fight without getting hit if your hands are fast enough.
Rule number 1. Always double tap.
shoot the parasites then he’ll drop it.
the easiest way of them all is the shoot the orange canister when he raises the boulder up in the air it will break it upon impact
he did a 2nd attempt of throwing the boulder and this time the orange canister is already blown to pieces when he did the 1st boulder toss .
If you shoot him enough(it’s a lot easier with a decent partner) he will get stunned and drop the boulder. Shooting the parasites if they’re out is the best place to aim at that point as well.
i think it hardly works on veteran mode with an AI-partner , just pray that the gigante do not throw the 2nd BOULDER !!!
anyone here have tried doing good decent damage on Wesker ? during the 1st encounter ? in veteran mode and i died 26 times .

The dialogue is atrocious if not hilarious, and the art ain’t too bad but it’s only 18 pages long. Basic Chris on Jill action, Sheva makes a one panel cameo and there’s a Plagas with a penis for a head.
Surprisingly, there’s no tentacle action.

I just watched a video of RE2’s Hunk mode beat in under 3 mins. I miss the old RE style. We can need to go back to juking and breaking zombie ankles again.
I just want to a new RE with Hunk in it again. There’s only so much RE4 Hunk i can take. This guy is WAAAAY overdue for his own game.
That too. But we need to go back to zombies not dropping items or have it make more sense. Only soldiers should have ammo and people should have tons of cash. Faking out zombies should be back too. I swear it was like watching a football running back or an and1 mix tape player trying to survive.
^I agree. While I like the new RE games too, I really would like to see an old style one be made again. I remember thinking that the new Wii game would be an RE CV remake or something along those lines (they hinted at fans of RECV liking it) but it turned out to be a light gun shooter instead.
ok i just beat the game again in Veteran mode again in RE5 , because i lost my saved data .
i find it odd while fighting against mutated wesker after shooting at his glowing heart and go near him and performed the special attack , it seems that i can’t do that action in veteran mode , because even in full health , Chris died after getting stabbed through .
