Resident Evil 6

LOL so yea…the AI is much better BUT SPOILERS

Those things that have that random insta kill in Jake’s campaign. The guys that put their seed inside you orally and they hatch from the inside (reminiscent of Aliens) yea…the AI will not save you from this…That shit was pissing me off bc sometimes youd get an option to shake out…and sometimes you dont. I thought it was health related but its not. Maybe its the difficulty too idk.

The control scheme relates to not only the level designs, creatures it also relates to player vs player. Why am I wasting time reply to your stupid ass

same reason you slept through school and created your own definitions

Says the guy too poor to buy the game to give ground to his words, get da fuck outta here

I’m playing the game on Veteran. Without the breakout skill I probably won’t be able to break out of some of them.

Is it that auto death thing mentioned earlier? If its analog qte then spin both sticks

So I have messed with Mercenaries, and I am ranked 716 on the leaderboards (I am aiming for the top 100). I am using Chris and could get better. Anyone on psn wanna do some duo games. Add me (Djhperkid)

currently rocking defense 2, field medic, and quick reload…

I think field medic was a waste but then again its not…nothing like popping pills when your down and almost out…jk…

anywho after I rap up Leon’s campaign im gonna run it again on veteran…if anyone wants to run it with me add me on xbox…Shadow Ace 50…

did anyone run into any other players in the crossover events?..speaking of events yall need to get registered on RE.net because I think they have more crossover stuff coming…

Anyone finished all 3 campaigns on Pro? I finished Jake’s and Chris already but I’m kinda afraid to try Leon’s seeing on how my friends are complaining that Leon is sorta hard and chaotic

I’m pretty convinced most of the people who complain about QTE’s don’t actually know what they are.

I just got done complaining Jake’s campaign. It wasn’t as good as Leon’s but it an enjoyable campaign. I was underwhelm by the Ustanak. It didn’t show character like Nemesis did and didn’t play a big enough role in Jake’s tale. It’s a resilient bastard I’ll give it that.

Almost beat jake’s campaign on pro solo. Gonna finish it up tomorrow. I like all the mutations the enmies have. I had people invade my game many times now and as courtesy I like to switch to hand to hand and fight them like that. Though once they turn into a crysalis, the gloves are off and I’ll kill them however I feel like it. Against some bosses I have learn to love remote mines because they actually save you a lot of ammo and time. I had 9 by the time I had to face the bosses in Chapter 4.

Hands down, gunfire is the most annoying thing to deal with in this game imo. I wish there was less in this game because I like fighting everything else. It’s annoying because once you lose over a bar of health to gunfire you fall on your back and it is very dangerous because you can still lose health while you are on the ground. Luckily if you mash A right before you hit the ground, you can tech roll and don’t have to lay on your back for a second, but it still breaks your momentum.

The game also hates to give you health items on pro it seems. I usually run around with 1 or 2 pills and a few bars of health. It’s really dangerous but the reason is so if I go down, Sherry can revive me and I pop a pill so I can get another down state. Though if you kill invaders in Chrysalis, you can stack up on some first aid (I got 4 once then I died by trying to hand to hand 2 reptile invaders  .

The intersecting in campaign is such a great idea. I had people team up with me on a bunch of boss fights. I personally liked the

Jake/Sherry + Leon/Helena Ustanak fight. Since if someone gets grabbed you have to help them or else it ends up like the boss in FF7 that grabs your party members and beats you with them. Though people need to be aware of any explosives they set off.

Any simple way to make this game playable split screen co-op? Clusterfuck of letterboxing gone mad right now.

Xbox via HDMI to a TV which should be easily large enough (50" or 53", I forget which) gives hilarious results. Literally 2/3 of the screen space is used, reminds me of shenanigens with RE5, or playing on a 20" display at most. I’d be at the least clinically interested to see where Capcom have taken RE, or even really up for it with a proper display format, since I’m an unashamed RE mark since first game. So when we are playing Borderlands 2 instead days after release, cause RE is unviewable and just lying on the shelf, there is a serious problem.

Current state of the display is a bad and apparently intentional joke, with no apparent override or options (you could force fix it just about if HDMI to Xbox didn’t remove even that option).

so far i played a little bit of merc mode and i beat jake campaign on normal. Merc mode is still as fun and addicting as it was in 4 and 5. Although this was with the zombie type of enemy not the other type of bad guys. So my view can change after i play a little more.

Jake campaign was rather enjoyable but not the best thing i played. It had it cools moments and the action was very cool. The QTE did not seem to get in the way to much for me at least. Although i was playing sherry so it might be something different for Jake. Plus normal is way to easy for two people. I have to confince my buddy to up the difficulty level for the next campaign.

So far i want to say it at least better then 5 as a action game. Maybe since capcom wants to keep the main game action. It would be cool if they did a spin of series That is survivor horror. Hell just make a new outbreak games if they want to keep co-cop thing going for the resident evil games.

**I HATE THE SAVE SYSTEM IN THIS GAME! WHY WOULD YOU ONLY GIVE US ONE SAVE FILE FOR ALL THREE CAMPAIGNS FOR A GAME THAT PRACTICALLY ENCOURAGES YOU TO TRY OTHER CAMPAIGNS. FUCKING STUPID STUPID STUPID.>:( **Because of this save system I had to beat Chapter 5 of Leon’s Campaign with just my pistol and knife. I had everything else and plenty of it. :wasted:

Anyway, the forced stealth section was pretty sad. As was the previous area with the blinding snow and crazy map. You’d think the company that made two games about fighting in the snow would get it right but no… NOOOOO! Overall, Jake. Chapter 2.

So I watched some videos of Mercenaries play with Leon, and it looked boring as hell. Why you get a huge amount of movement options on maps with slow peacemeal zombies is beyond me. Giving players an auto-kill QTE for the enemies with weapons like pipes is fucking stupid. The only real threats were the cheatery enemies later. Unless I see some really ridiculous mercs stuff, I will not buy this game.

LMFAO MAN UP FC!!

The snow location is for grown men, I did the shit on pro and loved and hated it at the same time. Guess what it did tho? give you the same frustrated feeling as if you was in Jake and Cherry’s position lol.

Did you run out of ammo on that part? If not then thats the real fun, Mishima style Godfist all day!!

If you lost use dat gps.

If I would have known what they were going to do with Chris’ character in Resident Evil I would have left him in the cell at Umbrella. Bring back Barry!

Chris’ campaign is BORING!

barry is off being a true american family man. He doesnt have time to play with zombies

You should be aiming for one hit kill melee in mercs anyway imo. It was that way also in RE5 that is why Wesker was the best for most of the maps.In this game the enemy spawns are based on how many kills you have, so it always starts slow, which is the best time to farm up time, before it gets harder to melee enemies. Against a lot of enemies that I can’t take down in one shot, I like to slide into them after stunning them, that way, I seem to get a DDT on them.

Urban chaos is definitely really easy, I find catacombs to actually be much harder, since you run into more red zombies and that’s the random mutation some of them can get. In urban chaos the normal zombies don’t really mutate that much like Javo. A boss also wanders inside mercs if you fulfill a certain condition, I think on Urban chaos I read it was 15 counters before you get a certain amount of kills.

Gonna finish up Jake’s campaign tonight. Yea, chapter 2 was the worst chapter by far. I did like the cabin fight though. This game on pro actually makes me feel like it’s SURVIVAL horror, though it’s not scary at all, so not really horror. I was low on ammo throughout most of the campaign, just because it would only drop a clip here or there for my handgun, which I mostly used to stun. The game also does not give you a lot of healing items. It also doesn’t help that I have agent hunt on ,so when players enter Chrysalis (which is usually what happens if I did not pull off a melee kill), I would have to use a harder hitting weapon like the magnum or sniper rifle to put them down before them become a factor, because the handgun takes too many bullets again them imo.
