And Epidemic I guess its just a matter of personal opinion. I didn’t find it too troubling with Leon’s part. It actually adds to Leon’s part since you never know when a zombie or something will pop up on screen, but the camera being that close for Jake’s part to me was a freaking mess. Especially when those lizard things start popping up.
Make a new PsN account, try to sign in for PSN, it’ll prompt you to enter information. Set the country/region to United Kingdom and city to London. When it asks for address, province, postal code look up the address and zip code for a McDonalds in London. Copy all of it over and then enjoy.
Try changing your settings a bit. Aiming isn’t as tight as it was in 5 that is for damn sure but with the laser sight on I was doing alright.
Because it’s been improved since the Dragon’s Dogma demo and probably even further still for the final game. I also agree that a lot of the adjustment has to with being able to moving and controlling the camera a lot more than in RE4/5. You are very mobile in RE6 and it takes a bit to get used to.
You were just playing Leon’s part versus slow zombies. Which btw was totally awesome and I can almost justify $60 for just Leon and Mercs. I just loved how quickly zombies can overrun a spot. That bit towards the end where they just seem to keep coming was great. I eventually was like “Eff it I’m tired of being snuck up on! To the batmobile!”
I’ll have to play Chris and Jake’s parts later. Did anyone find any neat moves or items during the Leon bit? I found a emblem in a drawer but all the moves I did I’ve seen in other videos. I really miss his suplex.
It took awhile for me get my control settings straight (RE6 is VERY wierd in that department), but I enjoyed all 3 campaigns in the demo (Jake being my least favorite). This game FELT like RE to me in Leon’s mode, can’t wait to play the whole thing since each campaign is almost as long as RE5 allegedly.
This is on track to be game of the year as long as they include a camera patch or two.
Good lord is this awful. Oh my God what have they done to Resident Evil. Controls are bad, I mean B-game grade bad… think a very A or AA game like Dark Sector… except nah, that’s an insult to Dark Sector which actually had decent controls.
The camera is horrifying. I got a headache because it’s too damn close to Leon. Running doesn’t work right, it’s very wonky and shit. This is so far from the crisp, clean controls of 4 and 5.
This is the most unpolished title Capcom has EVER released, coming from their internal team.
Graphically it is laughable. Some parts look good, but the rest of the game looks unfinished. Gamecube level textures everywhere. Framerate is in the low 20’s/Teens. Game is V-synched, no tearing but good God, with a framerate this bad. 5 looks so much better in every way, you’d think they were on 2 different consoles (and RE5 came out in 2009… ).
I don’t know what to say. This was just absolutely horrendous on every level. This is not a Capcom level product.
The only thing I liked, is that when you plug a zombie in the chest you blow holes in them, or blow arms off, ALA House of the Dead. That was the only aspect I enjoyed in this Demo. Absolutely dreadful in every other way.
Is there any possibility of the older REs (1 2 3 0) ever coming to Xbox as an anthology or on live? My wii went, leaving my copy of the brilliant REmake useless. Seems like itd be a good time to cash in on some nostalgia. Are ther legal hangups or whats the deal?
Don’t even get me started on the Chris section. Lol. Man, this is quite depressing. I guess the good team was too busy with the 3DS game or something?? This reeks of outsourced garbage… actually reminds me ALOT of Dead Rising 2.
If this is the level of quality we can expect going forward post-Inafune, Capcom is pretty much finished.
I’m sorry but there is no way no how this is an internally developed Capcom title. I just won’t believe it. If it is it is shipping in Alpha stage. Unbelievable…
This kind of overeaction (other than the camera) plus the expense is the reason why companies hate to release demos. They will never increase sales anymore, only decrease them.
As for Capcom being finished, should you be with the crowd that said they were when SFxT was released? Because people having been calling for their death for years.
Honestly tho, theirs really not much wrong with RE6 from a technical standpoint other than the camera, and even that’s not as big a deal as people are making it out to be. People just love to whine and exaggarate
