Resident Evil 6

Unrelated, I know. I already have Resident Evil 6 pre-ordered. But yeah… Tyrant.

There’s boomers in RE6. Sweet

wait wait wait…before I get moist you mean to tell me that if someone is playing one of the three campaign’s and another person is playing ada one…that ada one can crossover into one of the three main one’s? I thought ada had some kind of robot as her partner…

also agent hunt mode looks fun but the salt factor of me getting destroyed would be to high

4 player mercs needs to happen…

New video showing Jake and Sherry fend off J’avo trying to invade their mountain cabin. Note the crazy new transformation reminiscent of that large mouth with fat tail thing from RE5.

Less than two months folks!

It has come to my attention that resident evil 1.5 will be released by a group that obtained a copy of the game from a brazilian collector.

So Umbrella = Genom now. And Wesker = Meison. Does this make Ada Wong Sylia Stingray?

the close camera looks like a tasty option for PLAYSTATION MOVE

^ it will be ps move compatible?

I preferred blood over things turning into…gold dusto_O

The game will launch with an online service called ResidentEvil.net. Stat tracking, rivalries, championship belts, online events and all that stuff. This game’s equivalent of Call of Duty Elite and Battlefield Premium but for free. I’m definitely be playing this off the grid because I don’t want that crap

Seems good since it’s free. A lot of games already have a service like this, doesn’t hurt anyone by including this. People won’t judge you from the online statistics or hound you in a RE game of all things. Though I could see hilarity potential with the Dark/Demon Souls like griefing system, and going after certain players. Hopefully this game allows you to choose who’s game you invade.

What an irrelevant thing to complain about.

**Skill Points Explained Further

****Sorry that the screenshots are in Japanese. We’ll probably get some english ones soon. Skills are neat n’ all but what about the guns? I’m starting to get the feeling that guns won’t be upgradable this time around and they’ll be maxed out and balanced from the start. Which doesn’t really bother me. I can get my gun customization fix when Dead Space 3 drops.

I don’t know how old these videos are but the camera is still too damn close. Other than that I can’t wait to dodge enemies and quick shot people to get easy stuns for fast melee kills.

Also could they not get licensing for the guns? Shotgun? Wing Shooter? Really?

Look at my boy Leon go to work. Thing of beauty. He had to make up for the last two Mercs that he was robbed of being in.

why does the 6 on RE6 look like a chick giving a giraffe a BJ.

And the loop begins again.

Lol. That’s actually a decent question. I want to know the answer myself.

Here’s a different question to get away from that: Was the partner system from RE5 very popular?

So far, the big complaint I have about this game is that it appears at no point during gameplay will your characters be left alone in scary situations. Having a gun weidling fully capable partner with you through thick and thin really kills the atmosphere of “horror.” This was my major complaint from RE5 and I’m disappointed to see it return. I can’t imagine it was well liked for solo play, but I guess I’m wrong?

Um, in a word, no. A lot of people absolutely hated the fact you were forced into Co-Op for single player. Why they’re going for it again is beyond me.

Co-Op was good for Mercs though. Hell if anything, you could always treat Story Mode Co-Op as just training mode for Mercs, that’s how most people saw RE5’s Story (well…at least I did).

Lost in Nightmares though showed you CAN make some good horror with co-op.
