I guess I kinda have beef with that aurgument solely because I doubt that whatever evil corporation is in charge would let them get away that easily. Also I think Resident Evil 6 should’ve been the Jill and Leon show. Now that would have been a pairing too explosive to even control. And despite hating on her, I am very curious whatever happened to Rebecca.
Edit: my big disappointment is the partner system. I get that’s it’s fun to play online with friends but to me, as a fan of the series from day 1, that isn’t what RE is about. And when you play solo it destroys it even more. It isn’t even “scary” anymore.

What does the quality of their fighters have to do with Capcom’s other games? I’m not seeing Ono producing the next Monster Hunter. Realistically, the games that Capcom has outsourced to Western developers tend to suck ass (RE: ORC, 09 Bionic Commando, Dark Void). Expectations being the Bionic Commando: Rearmed and Dead Rising 2
DMC, Asura’s Wrath, RE5, and the death of Mega Man Legends 3, to name but a few.
