As far as I know, with the Resident evill books/comics that come out about a few weeks ago, Sheva didn’t die and Alex Wesker is one of the Wesker Children and possibly the only living Wesker child.
Unles capcom really did decide to Kill off Alber Wesker.
My theory is that you can’t kill off the main protaginist. Since Albert Wesker was the one person who caused almost all of the main problems in the series

I get the feeling this is going to be very MGS2ish, Chris/Leon are the bait but it will ultimately be Alex Wesker’s story. I’m interested, but concerned how is this game already coming out this year and it was under wraps this long? RE4 and 5 seemed to be in development forever and uhh is that Troy Baker as the new guy? I mean I don’t wanna sound like a hater since I pointed it out in the Asura’s Wrath topic but if my ears don’t deceive me cmon man find someone new!
I’m really hoping this game comes out like RE4. RE5 kinda let me down on the gameplay.

RE6 wasnt under the wraps. I think they announced that they will make RE6 almost right after RE5 came out, but they did state that they will take their sweet pretty time relaseing the game and making it.
Yeah, but generally it’s been a slow burn leading up to release. I’m not complaining, but it seems concerning Capcom’s just like BAM HERE’S A TON OF STUFF GET HYPE IN 10 MONTHS. They said they were working on it and leaning towards a reboot, but apparently not? I’m just overall confused really.
Also who is the girl with Alex, Sherry? Ashley? Someone else?

Zombies with guns and not much survival horror seems to be pretty lame, everything else looks great especially that I’ll get to play as Leon again
