Chris and Claire are the only two old school recurring characters that can keep Resident Evil fresh. Leon’s crippling angle to be constantly compromised by women is dryer than Betty Whites vagina at this point.
Well technically Leon chasing after Helena saved him and other people’s asses. If he didn’t go when Helena was begging for the agents to return after having second thoughts he would’ve been peaced.
The other bitches in his life aren’t the problem (yes Ashley was a problem but that was also the job he was assigned to do, nothing much he could do about that), it’s only Ada. Leon without Ada goes in hard. With Ada…yeah, it’s a mess.
And Claire is the only one. What’s Chris going to do to keep things fresh? At most, hang out with Jake which is more about Jake doing shit than Chris. Chris’ story is pretty much done.
On another note, Helena, Sherry, Ashley, Claire, and (possibly) Ada do care about him. If Ada didn’t care about (or loved) Leon, yet still decided to assist him during hellish situations, then that’s one hell of a friend zone.
Again, you keep saying “women” as in multiple when AGAIN, his only actual problem is Ada when it comes to women. Trying to save other people? It don’t matter the gender, it’s a good/bad idea depending on if you’d rather keep all your shit to yourself or not.
ADA is a problem. Anybody else do you honestly believe Leon’s acting different if the person is a guy?
Has he even interacted with a male character? Excluding the villains, obviously, he’s only gotten along with that black guy from Resident Evil 2 and Mike, the chopper pilot, in 4, both presumably. He got in a fist fight with Chris, and before that Jake didn’t even warm up to him.
That much I agree with. Chris isn’t either, he’s had two straight games.
Bring back Jake/Sherry, have someone find Billy, hell bring Sheva back into the fold. Of course best case scenario would be Claire getting back into things but who knows.
Eh, who knows but Jake did have to share time with 6 other people. Let’s give him his own game or close to it before we write him off and they did put him in the Stinger so it’s hella likely he would be in the next game.
Why do people consistently shit on this game? Because it isn’t RE 1.5656434343? I loved it and I think if it were to be its own title and not have the RE tag people would really like.
But of course its not in a mansion and the story line has evolved so it is shit in a lot of peoples eyes I guess.
Sheva definitely needs to come back. She was the only “sista” of the series, to an extent. I don’t know about Jake getting his own game, but that’s just me being more interested in certain male characters and commonly the women. Piers was the only male character I liked.
Why not bring some of the Outbreak characters into the mix, like Cindy, Alyssa, David or Kevin?
I’m not hating on it. I’m just speaking my mind on a few things. I’ve never paid attention to the mansion incident, myself.
I try to defend everything but even I think RE6 just isn’t that good of a game. It’s not as TERRIBLE as a lot of people would like you to believe but at the end of the day it might be just a bit better than mediocre but mediocre is honestly a good word to describe the game. It felt like it had no soul to it. I haven’t even touched Mercs of RE6 because honestly I just haven’t felt the need to replay it.
Being mediocre is whatever but being a mediocre entry into a highly respected, beloved and criticized franchise as RE is not a good way to go at all.
The game seems great to me. I’m not a die-hard fan of the series, so I suppose that’s why I’m not as critical of the game as others are. However, there were some parts of it that I didn’t like, and the only scenario I didn’t like was Chris and Piers’, which I found boring. Leon and Helena’s had me hooked the most, and Jake and Sherry was alright. Ada’s was rather bland in some areas but that’s because she doesn’t have a partner to interact with, but made up for it with the Carla conversation. It would have been cliche, but I seriously wanted Ada to whoop Carla’s ass. The highlights of Ada’s scenario were the fights with the chainsaw B.O.W (if it was a B.O.W).
There are too many cutscenes disguised as gameplay, too many QTE’s(goes back to that smash buttons and wiggle the stick song), the gameplay is fun but all the shit you have to do to get to it is ridiculous… there is also no reason to replay this game…
On the plus side, you weren’t expected to kill everything, which brought survival horror back to the title… In RE4, you were expected to kill everything, but you had to run away from some threats until you could neutralize them, and the set pieces(environment) is what made it scary… RE5, same shit only worse game design choice than RE4…
I wouldn’t mind another game with RE6’s combat system(slow that movement down a little bit and throw less enemies to reduce the need for QTE’s), but there would have to be an awful lot of changes…
Get rid of QTE cutscenes mostly, no more rail shooting, no vehicle or runaway portions(Hangon imitation shit made me mad, them niggas had the same motorcycle and the bitch had the nerve to say Hang On!!!:mad:), make the country I’m in feel like the correct country, single protagonist etc…
