I am currently doing research for my Communication class, and I would like to know the significance of having an on campus arcade/bowling alley and how it has influenced your experience at your University. I know schools such as UCLA, Fullerton, and CSULA have arcades such as these. If this is the wrong place to post this, please let me know.
Used to play at UCLA a lot even though I didn’t go there. Played at the CSUN arcade every so often even though nobody worth playing was ever there
Hell yea, CSULA son.
Nothing negative about it though, I go there for about an hour after classes and in between breaks. Met a lot of friends there.
dude, i could go on for days, ucla arcade has been so awesome, i’ve met so many cool people who have become a significant part of my overall social life. having an arcade in college is hella dope
I went to CSULB when they still had an Arcade. Had a lot of good CVS2 and Third Strike matches there, as well as hilarious SVC Chaos matches. I definitively spent a lot of time in the arcade when I should have been studying. I didn’t schedule my classes around going to the arcade though, I just went there when I had a long break between classes.
Thank you guys for the help.
Not sure if you still need the feedback, but I am still friends with many of the people I have met via my university arcade (UCLA circa 2000-2005). It totally was my version of a bar/pub/etc.
There’s an arcade with AE, MvC2, CVS and 3S at CSUF. I’ve played there a handful of times but I find myself playing pool or doing homework on breaks instead. It hasn’t impacted me in any way at all.
my UC has no arcade
