It amazes how one man can garner so much flack from just being straight forward on positions.
Dont forget that people say Trump is the establishment yet EVERYONE in the media is against Trump in one way or another. The other politicians are no where near the levels of publicity and attacks Trump gets. It’s always the most childish tactics from name calling and to the most degenerative penis size. Yet he still going to win.
I’ll state it again. Trump is causing a cultural shift and the Marxist progress liberal start screaming and whaling only to make Trump numbers rise.
I’ll even go this far. Call a demon by its name and it’ll start shrieking.
I would like to take a note, amid my Trump-bashing, to condemn another group of people: Regressive Leftists. They are to the Democratic Party what rednecks/racists/homophobes are to the Republican party; a really annoying group that wants everything to tie back into their one social issue. Early on, these people were voting for Hillary because ovaries. Now, they seem to be gravitating to Sanders. This sounds random at first, but here’s why they’re starting to like Bernie now: Revolution means change. They’re hoping someone willing to make radical changes will let them co-opt the movement to further the social justice agenda. So far, Sanders hasn’t really engaged with that part of the left, so it should be interesting going forward to see how he handles that.
Realistically, Regressive Leftists are the tip of the political horseshoe and closer to the racists they oppose than any kind of moderate view. With the rise of the Internet and PC culture, they’re actually starting to become more powerful and destructive than the institutions they hate.
Hmm… I would recommend that you read this article here so that way you can understand the way the Supreme Court interprets hate speech and protected speech (Side note: I don’t wish death on anyone outright but I’m relieved that Antonin Scalia is worm food now. He was a cancer and a disgrace to the bench, and he needed to be ousted one way or another.):
Now I do agree that their speech is questionable at best, and vile at worst, but if he does start to incite violence, and Trump’s supporters start taking to the streets and beating people up, then that’s when his rallies need to stop. Femto is right, this is the perfect time for Trump to show his leadership abilities. However, his leadership abilities need to be those that don’t divide the people and force or even encourage his supporters to retaliate violently to an otherwise nonviolent protest.
Jimmy, everything else you said in the post was spot on, but just know that we’re probably not going to see eye to eye on the way we see what kinds of speech should be protected or not. I’m personally fine with the most ignorant, backwoods, piece of shit retardlicans coming at me with some horrible arguments so I can proceed to thoroughly smash them in debate, but I know that others don’t want to debate and that’s fine. You do make a good point though that some people are so fucked up that there’s no debating and getting through to them, and as tolerant as I personally feel I am, that doesn’t mean that I’ll get to the point of tolerating intolerance. Once we tolerate intolerance as a people, that’s when those intolerant people destroy our principles and usher in an era of hate and violence for no reason at all.
They do. They just function different, and have a different name. They dont have the same power like democratic superdelegates do. Especially not this season of voting.
I don’t entirely disagree with the people gettin’ Trump’s shit shutdown. He is an outsider holdin’ a rally bein’ attended by a bunch of suburbanites. The people who actually live and work there said they didn’t want him there and made him leave. In a perfect world, they would have been understandin’ and let him practice his free speech, but given how the city is on edge these days, the political climate for hate speech is not tolerated. There have been daily protests against politicians for the last 10 years somewhere in the city and it’s only rammped up to borderline levels since the Laquan Mcdonald murder.
A politician holdin’ a virtual hate rally is the last thing people wanna see right now. The main reason the NRA stop doin’ shit in the city and why he Klan and Neo Nazi’s moved to Skokie. The city is pretty deep left and they are very adept at destroying ideological attackers. They’ve built themselves a wall and will not allow it to be violated, least of all by a person who’s not even from there. I don’t like the close mindedness but I also appreciate the power of the people.
And this is why illinois is a lost state when it comes to the state elections. The deep left in chicago and some suburbs through sheer numbers will out number everyone else in the state. Whether it is to vote for someone that will continue to provide them with more foodstamps or at least keep what they’re currently getting. Or the person whom they believe is least hate speech (which isn’t really true, because as long as that persons hate speech identifies with their’s then its okay).
Though those suburbanites are the ones that run chicago. They are the ones teaching in schools, working at all those downtown buildings, working at local factories etc… Why they have 5 highways that lead into the city. i55, i90, i290, i94, and i90. So they should have a vote and a right to assemble to support whom they believe will help this country. It is just easy to attack trump. Attacking the rich white man who wants to protect this country from outside threats aka is now a racist, is far easier than attacking a poorer white man who wants to give people everything for free.
Bruce Rauner and Mark Kirk are prime examples of the exact opposite of your statement. People in the Chi always look stupid when a shit load of Republicans get elected to state wide positions almost every election. Folks usually have to be reminded that Chicago is not a state and that the constant call to secede by downstate reps every few months did not work. Chi has pop of 3 million, the rest of Il is 10 million. That being said, most Il republicans are pretty much center-right and will vote for democrats.
Let’s not forget that no one in Il knows how to pick a candidate. When downstate influences elections, they pick fuckin’ criminals and gangsters, literally. Chicago can’t pick good candidates but let’s not pretend that downstaters preferences are fuckin’ Jesus in a suit. Every time downstate votes outnumber Chicago votes, the elected candidate ends up in jail. Illinois is a lost state because it can’t tell politicians and scumbags apart.
I was referring to the presidential elections. Wasn’t sure how to say it though. Basically the democratic nominee has won IL every election since Clinton. So 1992 and on.
And Bruce Rauner has both Dems and Republicans upset with some of his budget saving ways. Not sending reminder notices for car registration renewal, drivers licenses renewals and emission test reminders in an attempt to save money. Which has resulted in the state getting an extra 10 million in a few months from fines from people who forgot they had to renew.
No surprise that Chicago is heavily dem influenced though. I don’t believe they’ve had a republican mayor in over 80 years (since 1931).
Wow, it’s as if Marco Rubio read my SRK post and completely changed his game plan.
Good to see Marco again trying to go back to what he thinks is right. Although I don’t agree with him on some things, I am proud to see that he stopped his campaign of attacks and is also trying to focus more on what he believes is right from his own experiences with real people in his community rather than what people try to program him to believe.
Big disappointment at Fox news and CNN for their recent criminal activities of taking Trump’s speech of fixing the illegal immigration issue and editing out the illegal word to make it appear as if Trump wants to get rid of all immigrants. No surprise to see those with little life experience, such as those still in university, instantly buy it and jump to the Trump racist wagon and pull those protests. Even if they would legit disagree with him, physical violence against another person just because they support a different person is still criminal activity and very disgraceful and disrespectful and just further divides our country. I expected better from the people of Chicago, especially since so many of their businesses are outsourcing jobs to Mexico and China and Trump is the only candidate to mention this and want to restore prosperity to Chicago. I think it’s unfair to blame Bernie for the protesters, even if the protesters support him. Organizing violent protests is something that Obama, Hillary, or Ted Cruz would pull but Bernie doesn’t seem like someone who would lower himself to that level. If anyone has OAN news, they actually don’t cut speeches and piece them together to change candidates’ speeches like Fox news and CNN, so if you got that channel I recommend checking it out.
So here’s my updated position:
Carson: He dropped out but will still be my number one.
Trump: Calling out corruption in the media (you gamergaters should like him for this), economic issues such as companies leaving the US, resolution on ISIS, illegal immigration, common core failure and need for more charter schools, a lot of stuff I can agree with landing him number two spot.
Marco Rubio: I said it before, he gets nervous and lacks experience, but he is at least trying to run an honest campaign and help the people, so this puts him above all the remaining others.
Kasich: Has a massive amount of experience in many areas, but like I said before, a lot of these ideas are the same ideas that got us to where we are today. I am only putting him at number four because he is more cautious and won’t completely destroy what’s left of our country like the remaining candidates.
I don’t see Bernie’s “solutions” working for this country and I believe that they might be dangerous. So I won’t even list him as number 5.
Hillary and Ted Cruz are criminals. Their recent reactions to recent events make them just horrible human beings as well.
Nah, I’m from Australia, and we have our own unique kind of stupid over here too (if the current dude gets thrown out, we will have had 5 Prime Ministers in 5 years. Its a joke.)
On the other hand, American elections seem more about side choosing than about creating platforms of representation.
Jeb is actually gonna do something? I thought he would commit suicide after the stomping Trump gives him.
Or cause everyone is weirded the fuck out when he actually does bust out little turtles out of his pocket just to give to kids.
OR that he charged people 75+ for small guacbowls while getting the most money from the establishment.
Ever heard the saying “I dont agree with what you say, but I would defend your right to say it”?
Whats the harm. If he really is so idiotic then Trump wouldnt win. Whats there to worry about?
Trump is capricious, a trait you don’t want in a leader. He’s also full of shit, he earned nothing on his own and used his inheritance to get him where he is. As a goofball, he’s great. As a decision maker, he’s awful. That’s apparent to every single New Yorker done we’ve seen first-hand the many failed business ventures he’s attempted.
If he’s your candidate for anti-pc, you’re fucked. He’s sided with pc shit as much as he’s rallied against it. He’s an opportunist. That much is obvious. The people voting for him are undereducated, under skilled, and anachronistic racists who feel their whiteness is under attack by the people they’ve oppressed since the US came to existence and even before that. I don’t even say that to be insulting. These people are literally voting against their best interests since I doubt Trump would ever fund skill retraining programs for out of work laborers, he won’t get to put up a higher tariff for goods outside the US, he won’t roll back SCOTUS decision the right feel are too liberal, he won’t get rid of bottom rung taxes, and so on.
I’ve voted for candidates in both major parties, so don’t try to paint me as some liberal asshole. I just know that Trump is a fucking clown but the joke will be on those who vote him in expecting an 18th century America.
Leaving shit be and ignoring it when it’s about to take root is how we got the Nazis, ISIS, red army, et al.
Know why? There are way more stupid, easily influenced and manipulated people on this earth than there are intelligent ones. You already know where you fall, you shit excuse for a troll.
