The people on the right are typically wrong about abortion (as they are with most shit), but at least it depends on who you ask for the most part. Now, regardless of my support for Bernie, I’d say that I disagree with his views on abortion in the way of being able to choose to abort late term babies on a whim, as well as a couple of other social views that we don’t see eye-to-eye on. I think the current system where early term abortion is a-ok (because they’re not even humans yet they’re fucking zygotes and embryos, I mean who cries every time they eat a baby chicken huh?), mid term abortion is questionable, and late term is a no-go unless it’s very extreme cases is just fine.
Also, you’re overestimating how much funds it would truly take to undertake massive infrastructure rework and redesign, and with all the jobs that alternative energy can generate it would greatly stimulate the economy over time. In the grand scheme of things, the political spectrum as it stands in this country has been skewed so far to the right that the far right base are damn near the Christian equivalent of jihadists, whereas the current folks on the left are actually corporatist shills that are more aligned with the center or center-right of the international spectrum. Then, when we see a true progressive come out, they’re seen instantly as a Stalin-type character, even though true progressives typically don’t believe in authoritarianism in the least. The white nationalist pushing a teenage black girl out of the building, and having a veteran apologize and abhor his contribution to that because he got caught up in the moment, and did not know they were racist. The protestors are coming in all flavors too. They are actually mostly white. I think at this point it is not working against trump fanatics. They will justify anything, but i think it is working for republicans who were for cruz, rubio, jeb, ect…, and think trump and his supporters are fucking retards. I dont think trump will gain much of the republican vote outside of his supporters, where as though bernie supporters will probably just vote hillary if she is nominated, to prevent the guy whose ex wife alleged he raped her from being president.
Yeah I always thought it was pointless to go to a Trump rally to protest. It’s like a Jew stepping into a neo-Nazi convention and expecting them to not beat the shit out of the Jew for stepping foot in their area. At this point there’s no reason to protest because for the most part people have their minds made up about which candidate they are going to vote for.
Honestly, this election gonna go 1 of 4 ways at this point (post election stuff is just speculation as to what I personally think would happen):
Option A: Hillary wins nomination on Dem side and barely beats Trump in general election. We avoid having a wild card who can make or break this country (my money’s on the latter) in favor of 4 more years of an establishment center-right shill and it’s business as usual until America decides they’re ready to catch up to the rest of the world and stop being an imperialistic oligarchy.
Option B: Hillary wins nomination on Dem side and barely loses to Trump in the general election. Trump will more than likely ruin the country by plunging us into World War III because he gets pissed off at a country for something very stupid and trivial, ignores whatever laws including the Constitution to put in place whatever he wants, and goes on a power trip to the point of basically becoming a dictator, assuming it even gets to that point. Otherwise, he’ll be impeached, assassinated, or perhaps he might actually do something right.
Option C: Bernie wins nomination on Dem side and curb stomps Trump in the polls. From there it’s not the end for Bernie, but rather the beginning, and it’ll take a lot of cooperation from the American people to help make sure the policies he wants set in motion take place. He’ll have to play politics in the best way possible: Make both Democrats and Republicans play ball with what he wants, or end their political careers by publicly shaming them to the point that they get voted out of office. He may get assassinated assuming the establishment decides that he’s too dangerous for them and they have to act rashly as a last resort, but that move would possibly spark a revolution that forces America into true class warfare where the donor class are up against everyone else in America, including philanthropist billionares like Warren Buffett.
Option D : Trump somehow doesn’t win enough of the delegates required to secure his victory in the primaries; even though he would have the most, the RNC would use a power play to make a brokered convention and elect their establishment fallback candidate to take Trump’s place. That plan could go 1 of 2 ways: either Trump plays along because the establishment buys him off and he lends his support to the fallback candidate, or Trump gets furious and scorns the RNC by running as an independent, handing the election to the Democratic nominee.
I’d rather gouge my eyes out with a rusty spoon than vote for another corporate puppet like Shillary. I’d almost want Trump to win, cause there’s a (very) small chance that his presidency would be entertaining, hilarious, and actually beneficial to the American people.
At the most fundamental level, it is still murder. You are robbing a life of it’s potential and existence and are making a decision on whether this life can exist or not for it. However don’t get it twisted, people don’t have the right to tell you if you can’t end it or not, and whether or not a god allows it or not is irrelevant because that’s a personal decision between your god or principles. That decision is on you becasue you have to “deal” with it for 9 months. But no matter how you slice it or present it, you are snuffing a life out when you get an abortion.
Not like the right can justify their position through this argument though because they support capital punishment and feel justified in having a god complex when it fits their agenda.

Solar and wind should be used, and enviormentalists should be told to shut the fuck up when they ise animal habitats as an excuse to block building these thing. However, solar will not be a suitable replacement for fossil fuels unless we can double the energy efficiency of those panels from 15% to much higher levels, and invest into battery technology to store massive amounts of reserve energy when the sun isn’t shining.
not really. Not only do bridges, roads, sewers need to be rebuilt. The current energy infrastructure is not suitable for solar and wind energy. Cities need to be rewired to have panels everywhere, the grid system needs to be rewired as well to store energy. The only way a system powered by solar and wind can work is we have the capacity to store energy, and that would require significant battery technology that we do not have now.
And the kind of batteries we need aren’t developed yet and would require expensive materials and expensive upkeep to be efficient and have virtually zero loss.
People think that cutting the military budget would make these programs possible. It won’t, you can cut the military budget and it wouldn’t go very far in terms of creating the necessary funds. You’d have to not only cut that budget, you’d have to increase taxes on everybody to fund these programs.
What we need requires $$ that we dont’ have unless we increase taxes. I’d be ok with it, but I would need guarantees that the money isn’t fucking squandered on pork.

I’m not worried about Trump winning, I’m just saying that if it ever got to the point where Trump wins the primary, there’s only a small chance that he would actually win the White House. This is his race to lose; The outcome on the Dem side will determine what direction this country wants to go in, and that’s why people care so much about what’s happening on that side.
I’m not quite sure why Republicans are voting against their own self interest. Drumpf and Cruz are LESS likely to win a general election than Rubio or Kasich. The problem is that our primary system, created and perpetuated by bloated political parties, supports extremists over moderates. The inflation of campaign costs has made 3rd party runs almost impossible unless you have the wealth to support it, and even then the media, in cahoots with the parties, will just shut you out and prevent you from getting any exposure. This creates a system which discourages moderates (which leads to low voter turnout imo) and acts as a playing field between two extremes of human corruption as they dance with masks upon their faces and claim to be fighting for the betterment of people.
Honestly, it’s about damn time both parties crash and burn. The Republican front runner is basically a radical right-wing independent, and a longtime left-wing independent is a serious contender for the Democratic nomination.
