Ms Stein got me sprung for my vote. She is Green. But Id rather Bernie win the Dem nomination over Hillary so i can vote for Stein in the big one anyways.
I want Marco to get the nomination. According to a quiz, I agree with him on 98% of everything. Heâs also the best chance the GOP have of winning the actual election, because people vote with their enlightenment. And it would be so awesome to vote in an Hispanic, you guys!
Not that Iâm a republican. I do vote that way, though.
Every new story I see on Trump is just nauseating. He is the embodiment of everything wrong with the field of Republican presidential candidates. I do enjoy seeing Stewart et all take cracks at him but not sure its worth it when serious media outlets are lumping so much of their coverage on him.
I honestly dunno if youâre talking about me, or the worms controlling your brain are getting lazy and your subconscious is sending out an SOS. I love you, WTF-A-H. I just wish youâd stop posting while upside down.
also, Neesa is an EmpressâŚget it right, heathen.
Theyâll continue to tell us that raising minimum wage or paying employees more would bankrupt them or force them to raise prices, while CEOâs and other executives get million dollar raises that literally eclipse the amount every single employee should be getting as a raiseâŚ
Raising minimum wage wonât do shit but make people lose their jobs. Unless there is a direct law saying you must make this much money as a CEO they will make the cuts they need to make. Trying to hit big businesses with dumbass regulations they have to money and the ability to dodge hurts the little guy. Less small business = less competition. The less competitive a market is, the more shitty it is.
I want business rules to be something like in Hong Kong.
All the choices were meh until trump showed up. Letâs be reasonable and acknowledge nothing will change for the better with any of these candidates. At least with trump I can be entertained.
no not really. You canât assume we live in a vacuum. Politicans and buisness people like talking as if we live in one when itâs to their benifiet, but the willingly accept itâs all connected when it means they make more money.
Just from what I know about your stance, if we do what you want, we would enter a state of super poverty within the next 5 years.
If we also say fuck minimum wage, it means that people would work for almost free. that means no money to pay for utilities, homes, etc. So now we have all these people being paid pennies, this means there will be an increased reliance on welfare system,
if government downsizes as you want it and so many other people, it means welfare programs are sliced, this means that people on hard times will be out in the streets more often than not. That means starving people will starve more, have no income to pay for rent, thus homelessness raised exponentially. Coincidentally all the bad shit people donât like about poor people becomes a very serious issue almost overnight.
what you want is for the free market to support the poor. But you fail to realize that the only support the poor get is from government welfare. By removing the minimum wage, you eliminate the only crux that keeps private companies in check and force them to contribute the bare minimum to the benefit of society. So you only have government having to get bigger to fill in for private companies that only care about short term stock values.
Minimum wage alone was and always has been a force of good for both the consumer and the companies. In the 60âs, if you adjust for inflation, workers where payed the higest (10.88), since the 60âs, the minimum wage has actually been locked and has never afforded the American people the same purchasing power they had in the 60âs.
Every time the American people had an increase in their purchasing power, revenues go up, GDP goes up, profits increase.
Also, you cannot force companies to accept wage caps on jobs. Thatâs not feasible, nor is it responsible. But companies have to accept that their is going to be an increase in costs because workers need to get paid more. If the government already is giving them hefty tax cuts, then they need to understand that itâs give and take.
Regulation is the thing that keeps things in balance, a free market is one of the most evil things on the planet and has never benefited humanity at all. Itâs only through the regulation of free markets that capitalism can do any good by providing a means for all, not just the few. Regulation gives people the ability to tap into cash flows and build the infastructure needed to support modern society. Itâs obvious you drink too much koolaid and forget, ignore, or donât know what happens when capitalism is allowed to do as it pleases
and this is just the crux of the issue. There are more severe issues to come with such free range capitalism. Honduras, El Salvador, Bolivia, have a much more pressing matter of water rights. People can own the fucking rain and itâs illegal and highly punishable to collect rain water. There was a debate about people in the United States buying large swaths of land in Libya, Sudan, and other saharan countries with large underwater reserves of water as theirs. Foreigners buying up the resources of a people. The free market is a fallacy that does not work, and has never worked. Americanâs greatest eraâs where under the rule of leaders who embraced and enforced well thought out regulations. Americaâs worst times have always been under the rule of leaders spouting shit about some imaginary free market and trying to appease the established financial elites.
HONG KONG IS NOT A FREE MARKET, THERE ARE REGULATIONS IN PLACE BEFORE AND AFTER THE BRITISH
USDollar is so strong its worth 30% more than Canada.
âIâm gonna go to your house and just buy it for a dollar, lol, canadaâ
Theyre getting blown up, bubble history example these days. Govt. is trying to stop the insane shifts they have daily, every business advisor/watcher is saying they are what not to be, crazy up and down Shanghai and China proper stock markets. I donât know how theyâre going insane by losing 0.7% from last years version of production though, if not even that but last quarter. Because their volume is so high regardless anyway, its nary a dent in output.
Trump, mainly because I donât think his long game involves actually getting the nomination, so of course I want to see him actually get the nomination.
Having your own reality tv show should immediately disqualify you from pretty much everything.
Voting, using self service check outs, talking to people in public, etc etc.
