Hi guys just wondering since we see clubs like Dragonslayers in NI & another 100+ serious clubs in England & more & beyond all over the world, if theres no team/club already for ROI, why don’t we start one?
We’d be serious about game like, maybe trying to make it to evo to compete, or even just a holiday or something like for a group of us. In dublin we have a gaming center that does lock in’s overnight, so maybe once every 3 months we could have a lock in session. An end of season gaming night if you would. Also gaming meets every 2 weeks or so, where we could game, host ROI ranking battles (Console) (Also tekken 6 arcade machines are around the corner) & maybe we could have some VS games against DragonSlayers etc.
Theres much much more to be thought up, and skys the limit as they say, So…
If anybody that lives in ROI is interested & willing to put effort into this project, then sign up here!
If anybody has any questions msg me on here, e-mail me on polysics829@hotmail.com, or add me on xbl GT= Xinkai
I have added you to my friends list a while ago on the PS3 but I’ve yet to get a response so I assume you primarily game on Xbox Live.
I was at the first competition held in the Extreme Gaming Cafe. Its a nice venue but the organisers have no clue about organising fighting game competitions etc.
Perhaps the PC is the best format to run SF IV ranking battles when its released on July 3rd. Does away with problems like fighting sticks working on only one console (Playstation/Xbox split) and not being able to transfer unlocked characters to other machines.
It seems there is’nt enough passion for street fighter 4 in ireland eh???. As far as getting near good enough to compete well in evo,a decent sf4 here community is def needed…If enough people posted on the likes of this thread and others it could be a possibility though.Let’s keep hopin!.
Add me on live = Araforn…I’m forever on championship mode mixing between my stick and fightpad…Damn that stick is hard to use…
