I don’t know if I’m going to sign up for the Ranisen (.-. I’m not very good at either game and new to the scene) but koogy told me that I should stop by and just learn some things, so I may do just that! =)
Definitely, just because we have the Danisen doesn’t mean we don’t want to teach new players. Tell us what game you want to play, and I’ll point you in the right direction.
I’m actually interested in learning BB:CS and plan on picking it up soon! 
I play SSFIV too, but I’m still trying to pick up on the basic concept of SF since it’s the first one I’ve ever played.
I play Melty Blood AC/AA too! But I don’t think that’ll be there, haha.
Sorry I wasn’t able to post this earlier as I was really sick for the past 3-4 days and I didn’t really go on the computer.
Now I won’t be able to host the fight day/night personally, but if Koogy wants to take care of it I can give him a key so
he can do the set up while I am gone. Oh I forgot to mention the reason, I will be in Hawaii for my bro’s wedding from
Sat til next week Wed. So expect a bunch of delicious Hawaiian candies when I get back the following week.
Again I want to apologize for not mentioning this sooner. If Chris is up for setting up that is cool too, I know he probably
has work that day, but I am sure we can work something out.

Corimon you should definitely pick up BB:CS and see if it is to your liking. I think you will enjoy it very much so.

@Corimon Hey my bro & I play Melty Blood =) If it’s OK with either Koogy or Lee I could bring that game to the fight nights along with other games (yo peeps show your love to SNK games & I could bring them & probably start a Danisen league for it or not). We could teach you the basics, everyone here will be glad to show you the ropes. Heck, I have little kids that are new to the scene & they’re also learning too.
Now I want a beautiful Hawaiian girl. =(

Well I’d like to at least play as Makoto before choosing her for a main but considering I don’t really like most of the CS cast I figure she’s got a good shot.
I mean I like Tsubaki and Tao but Tsubaki sucks and Tao isn’t quite what I want in a main.
Also “Squirrel Girl” is a real reference one could look up. Maybe she’ll be included in MvC3 and will be used as a counter to Deadpool.
Gentleman, I have come to a conclusion: CS is fun as hell, and I absolutely suck balls at it. I can’t find a main yet, and I can’t get the timing down on combos and I turn into a mashy mess. Especially trying to do air follow ups, oh lord… I’ll keep at it! So far its looking like Tao, but her damage output is just shite. Makoto’s got a chance though, I love the speed characters! 
If you like speed and you want damage, you should probably play Bang.
Tao’s damage isn’t shite, either. Look up the taunt loop setups and do those. Then pretend after you land each setup (easiest: send them off the wall) that you just did 6000 damage. Profit.
These descriptions are making me excited to try out Makoto. I’ll probably just decide to use Litchi though.
