I just said I’m down to play games. The issue of the entire thing is getting everyone together. Maybe since Tekken 6 is out now and quite a bit of people are excited for it, game nights will start happening again. Other than that, it seems like nobody has both the drive and financial security to even compete, so nobody bothers practicing. I dunno, that’s just what it seems like to me.
As for myself, since acquiring a job and weekends off. (got waaaay lucky) I’ve been to the east coast/ west coast/ Evo and have been taking the game very seriously.
I know Cameron is always down to play but neither of us own a system. Other than that, who is willing to play and practice seriously if I give em a call or aim? Hopefully some others, but as of now it seems like there is no one else.
What will probably happen is that I buy a 360 and start having people over at my place once I move. I guess the next logical step would be that I change the situation if no one else will.

Paul has a point though. For a new player. $20 is 3-5 tourney entries. Which is quite a bit more experience than playing a single round against anyone in Reno. I have the financial security to money match, but a lot of people don’t. I’m just thinking about other people too.
No Dawg , I never used Ryu then. I use Honda/Gen/Ryu now, but mainly Honda.
As far as tommarow goes , I work until like 3 then I think ill head over to Atlantis for a little bit .

I own 3 sticks ( all 360 though ) even more if you count the Wii ones I got for TvC.
I dont really dont wanna do money matches even though you use on of my best matchups. Id rather just play to play. Seems like that doesnt exist here in Reno. Doesnt mean I woouldnt MM though if it were to happen

Wondering if I should hop on Tekken 6. It looks okay. I wasnt huge into previous Tekkens. Always preferred Soul Calibur when it came to 3D but who knows.
