Hey Reno crew! Thank you for expressing interest in showing up for our event. Be sure to bring your hype with you! I would like to inform you that parking in Berkeley can be your worst nightmare tenfold over. So I decided to create a comprehensive Berkeley Parking Guide for Dummies. Hope it helps!
Berkeley Parking for Dummies
Solution 1: Local Parking
Rates are $1.50 per hour

Solution 2: All Day Parking Garage
This is the most ideal solution for people who don’t like to walk from faraway lands.
All day parking garages are more expensive, but they are less than 0.1 miles from the EU. Here’s the rates:
Solution 3: BART
Rates: $1 + $3.50 for roundtrip ticket
You can park at any BART station and take a round trip to Berkeley. OR you could park at the Berkeley BART station which isn’t that far from EU (0.4 miles). The last train leaves at midnight.

Solution 4: Free Local Parking
Rates: Free, but extremely limited and littered with Parking Officers
This is the last solution you have to solve your parking problems. You can park in a - free - time limited parking zone. Most of them limit you to one hours/two hours. I used to go to grad school here, and I would have to get out of class (sometimes midterms) to re-park my car in a different location. Not fun, but it’s a solution.
I thought there was all-day parking up Oxford street past Hearst. Maybe it’s only on weekends?

I think you’re right. The all-day parking spots are free on the weekends. I also believe that they’re about half a mile farther down the road or whatnot.
