It will probably be like sourdough toast. But if some people can read a throw animation to see if it is a 1 or 2 break on normal throws… then that could be really easy on long distance throws. And if some throw escapes leave you fucked… then you’ll use that throw less often… which isn’t a problem in buhzillion throw escape Vf… but for Tekken…

i was there when john called the guy he ordered reload and isuka from…the guy said 2-3 weeks last week. so there you go…i asked john yesterday too he said the same thing…maybe next week most likely the week after. he ordered reload and isuka on his parts list because that means he doesnt have to go through john ferahi or whatever the fuck his name is to ok it…the shit is on its way.

No offense to anyone here, but tonight’s tournament sucked ass.
The controllers weren’t working at ALL; everyone will agree that the random short/short not working was happening half the time. I heard Rob had to start his match with Chris -7- times!?
The brackets were a total fucking mess. We had top 4 in the bottom half of the bracket, so we had me vs. everyone else in the top. =/ I don’t give a fuck if this is RENOLUTION, we seed from tournament results.
What the fuck is with Atlantis keeping 16 dollars of the pot for free tokens, and charging us to play? Do they not understand the concept behind us playing per game? Either we pay 1 dollar each to atlantis for that token shit and it’s on freeplay, or we pay per game and they don’t touch our pot.
I have no complaints about the actual matches themselves, as I tried my best and accept any defeat; good games to Major Muffin, and Chris “needs more cowbell!” campbell. I’ll learn the game one of these days, and win a CvS2 tournament someday.

First off… this is one of the worst tourney i’ve ever been to… and all of know i been to a lot of em…
First… the buttons… PURE BS… Atlantis had more than ample amount of time to correct this mistake… this was not the first time this had happened… we’ve asked them many time before to fix this problem… THAT IS NO EXCUSE… we are paying for the tourney… the gamers expect a perfect cabinet and game…
Atlantis could have easily turned the cabinet off for a couple of hrs and rewired BEFORE the tourney… so when the tourney happened… there wouldnt be THIS problem…
Yea I understand that things can happen… if this was the first time… i dont think people would mind… but this has gone on way before the tourney had been announced…
Second… YES JC … Atlantis KEPT $15 and YOU KEPT $1… giving tokens is not the same as giving cash… token is worth nothing to Atlantis… hence why u cannot redeem them for cash… and just because you are running the tourney that doesnt give u the right to keep any cash… I HAVE NEVER kept money for myself… in fact not only do i give my free time… but I also force the hotel to not keep a single dime from the gamers… Hilton and Circus Circus both never kept a single penny from the tourney… even though both asked me countless time to keep a percentage… thats just not right…
Third… WTF was that bracket… PLEASE download a double elim bracket and see how its done…
Fourth… U DO NOT… run the winners side first all the way through… thats just dumb… it makes all those that lost… cold… which makes it hard for them to get back into the game… vs someone that just played…
IMO this is totally unacceptable… my money and time was wasted…
you had several meetings to correct all these problems beforehand… JC ure the tourney organizer… u should make sure that every problem that u knew was taken care of BEFORE the tourney…
I dunno if I can bring myself to go to a tourney that isnt organized correctly… again…

yea that button thing sucked. it was doing that shit to me when me and rob started to play. and then when i had to play chris c later in the tourney (i pretty much just gave up on that match because it was pissing me off so much).
alls i can say is…hopefully the atlantis will sit the fuck down and reconfig the wiring in that shit.

I think we have the right to vent after our first monthly in a long time. And you’re right, shit does happen. And it did happen last night. I have ever-lasting gratitude for the Atlantis even spending 5 minutes trying to fix the problem, and cater to the players. It certainly isn’t their fault the machine is wired improperly, and I’m not blaming them.
It’s just frusterating when you’ve got 16 players for a big tournament, and you personally spent 5 dollars + 5 dollars in tokens just to enter and do your best, trying to win the pot. It gets to the point where the smallest problem (a short coming out once every 1000 button presses) is unexceptable; that’s just tournament play, and it’s unfortunate that things happen.
To the Atlantis, I just want to thank you for putting so much effort into the arcade, and trying to make it our place to play. I’m guessing you (magical1) is Jeremy, John, Randy or the new player (James, I think?)… Don’t trip, we don’t hate the Atlantis, and we will continue to play there. We just had to vent and let our feelings be known.

it was just unfortunate that the machine started to mess up midway during the tourney. its the lil things that can throw you off.
