i might be in tahoe for a couple days…which place has the best marvel arcade/competition in tahoe?? any help is greatly appreciated.
None. There is no marvel in Tahoe; drive down to Reno, and go to the Atlantis.
damn i dunno if my friend would go to reno since we’re sharing a car and its more of a business trip fo her. how far away are tahoe and reno anyways.
Depends. North Shore = 45 minutes to Reno. Go down Mount Rose Highway until you hit 395, then get on that going north and get off at Moana; you’ll see the Atlantis.
South Shore = 1:15 minutes away… Muffin Man can post better directions.

On irc the other day Castel was saying he had talked to Arney about whats up Tekken 5. Apparently it will not be released in kit form! (gulp) Only on dedicated cabinets. (cringe) Aparently it is on a new board. The board might not even support low resloution monitors (i.e. won’t work with a super gun and tv). Which I guess would be why the dedicated cab.
Little bit scary news considering the failure of VF3 was largely blamed on it’s expensive dedicated cabinets. But on the other had… there used to be like 5 VF3 cabs around here. Carson City even had one.
Also, if it comes on a dedicated cab that means it will come with brand new sticks that should stay good for a little while. Unlike Tekken 4 where localy we have never had it on a machine with good controls.
