Who’s going to play Tekken 5??? Rob will, and I’m going to learn that game as well. I’m kinda interested in re-learning Paul Phoenix/Kazuya Mishima or King, hopefully this game won’t make the Mishimas and Kazamas Top tier again ; ;.

Kinda hoping Paul and Muffin Man don’t play it so we won’t have this ‘must have a tournament every weekend’ mentality for it. Maybe thats just to try and drive up attendance… I dunno not really part of it lately.
I hope Circus Circus gets it. It’s just a much better location. From what I recall I’d have to say TTT was the busiest game Reno has ever had, as far as consistently good crowds and quarter lines on the machine for a long long time. Some of that had to be cuz of CC. And Atlantis isn’t immune to crap controls apparently.
Reno hasn’t had a tournament for 2 months, Gary. We’re not “tournament crazy”… But our scene is beginning to get sloppy. We’re not playing our best, and we need to reignite that. I plan on learning it IF it’s a good game, and if I can get intrested in it.
Circus Circus sucks donkeynuts compared to Atlantis. Atlantis has techs who will fix the game REGARDLESS what they’re doing. They will fix the game ASAP, and make SURE it works. They also listen to ways to improve the arcade regularly. What is circus circus concerned about? Oh that’s right! Nothing.
But regardless Gary, you will be the tekken 5 flag waver for reno crew! Hopefully it is a good game, because it looks way too awesome.

im not a nutso for tournies (while yes they are fun).
But like paul said, our scene is geting sloppy. im actually willing to take it a step further and say i think its kinda slipping away. hardly anyone, to me, seems interested anymore.
noone has any incentive to wanna play. so i figured i try and help out by holding a tourney and try and get people pumped up for it.
but i seem to get shot down everytime i try (earlier posts).
Everyone here seems to be sooo negative when it comes to playing games.
I am constently hearing people say:
“oh he sucks”, “oh these sticks suck”, “oh i suck”, “2 outa 3, thats sucks, im going to bed”, “atlantis sucks”.
i mean come on…im trying my best here help the scene out.
All i want is to help out Reno Crew and get everyone to play.
im not here to get people pissed, i just want everyone to play games and be happy when they play it. Just Have Fun and Play

Ok I guess I exagerated that. Not really my place to comment anyway cuz I have no feeling for whats going on and what people want for it.
Yeah this right now could be the golden days of Tekken 5… so far no news to suggest that it sucks yet.

Um, 1, I know you’re smarter than you sound here so can you make what you just typed a little more understandable cause to me it looks like sets of words thrown together in a mush. Yea I agree with what you’re saying about “Reno getting sloppy”. Sloppy in what sense are you talking about? Can you play your best with shitty sticks, regardless how bad you want too?? You yourself say “I can’t play A-groove in the arcades cause the sticks are shitty” So why include and I quote

Atlantis doesn’t suck, it’s the only place where you can actually play games that doesn’t “breakdown” as much as others. Plus it’s the only place in town that has a XX machine and is willing to get #reload, and CvS2 is in a nice machine. But let me ask you this. How many are willing to play CvS2?? No one. That’s already been proven time and time again. How many people takes CvS2 besides you/Chris/Paul/Nick S./P.J/Chambers/and (OMG I FORGOT HIS NAME) ??? 6 players that’s taking 1 game that at least 5 other players doesn’t take seriously. You get low turn outs, people get bored, and you will have no motivations. No motivation = bad experiences. If you add bad sticks, you made the tourney experience worse than ever. Leaving you with displeasure.
But having tourneys is good, if that motivates people, then yes it’s good. But I only see this in XX and not in CvS2. And Eric you missed a Y in your statement. :D, just wanted to point that out.
