omg desk, you found a glitch with honda that was discovered by sirlin and I with fei long. we were able to juggle using a normal after fei’s super(as an ati air), but it got fixed. crazy to know that the bug is still there, with another character. awesome find!
lol at 4 fei dp’s. i totally forgot about the akuma rd freeze bug. I remember when trag made a video of that back in the old days when DC version was new, that brings back some memories!
there was a pretty beefy explanation in the srk bugs thread IIRC. and it seemed like it was really easy to re-produce in training mode. I think it had to do with pausing the game and restarting the round or something like that, on the moment of impact, getting hit with electricity, hhs, etc…
If it’s the electricity bug you’re talking about, you pause the game in training mode after getting hit by Blanka’s electricity, and then change one of the options like dummy control to CPU or human control, and then the electricity should stay on the character.
Even cooler is doing it with Ken or Dictator, pausing, changing settings, and then Shoryuken with Ken or Crusher with Dic, and then you get smoke or psycho power. It’s freaking cool.

I figured that Juggle glitch was still in there. If I heard correctly, Sirlin didn’t fix the bug… he just made it so the LAST hit of Honda’s Super was of a different hit “type”, so it would not allow Juggles afterwards. However, the other hits all remained the same. So basically, if you can manage to get the Super to hit without the last hit connecting (like you, Desk, did in this video), you can get that Free Juggle to still occur.
It’s definitely a weird glitch, and I am not sure why it happened in the first place. But I’m guessing that other characters may have similar glitches. If there is any way you can get only the first few hits of Guile’s Super or Sagat’s super to connect and still recover in time to hit afterwards, it might occur with them, too. Because the common theme of this new hit “type” that allows free-Juggles with normal moves seems to be the new “air reel” that pops enemies up very low. Before, Guile’s Super and Sagat’s Super and Honda’s Super would all not be able to Combo at all as anti-air, but they do now because they knock the enemy down so much lower than before. And when the last hit of Fei’s Super also caused that reel (which you also found in August, Desk), you could get the free Juggle if that last hit occurred as anti-air and near the corner.
Also, just out of curiosity, with Bison’s Stand Jab now hitting farther, is that a legit Combo after a Cross-up every time on everyone? Or is that a Fei-only combo because Fei is so fat?
By far my favorite Combos were the Fake Slide combo and the Four Flame Kicks with Fei in the corner. Well played, sir.
And yes, I am wondering about that TAP glitch at the end of the video. I think the reason it hasn’t raised more questions is that everyone seems to have just accepted that the TAP is SUPER glitchy now.
