why on the changes page sirlin posted did he say that sagat can juggle tiger knees but not a super EXCEPT in combo videos? i dont get it
Yeah, I have been trying that one quite a bit, still no dice.
the super does juggle after tiger knees when spaced properly in the corner.
I’ve done it many times but it’s not practical.
Yeah, you should notice that the only reason the Super hits is because the Tiger Uppercut part is the only part that juggles, therefore the only way it can juggle is if it’s spaced in a distance that the Tiger Knees push the opponent on a wall, but that the Super’s Tiger Knee doesn’t make Sagat cross up behing the opponent (though that last part is a presumption, haven’t tried it yet).
wow fucking dope
Would you mind typing out the inputs for some of those preferable the ones with the crouching strong to crouching forward to super ones I’d appreciate it. Thanks. I’m assuming the motion is blended with the strong then forward but, it’s not working. :S So maybe I’m wrong, just want some clarification on it. After trying it a ton of times I have this feeling you hold down crouching strong to prevent the negative edge coming out and doing a fireball.
Crouching strong to Crouching forward to super is not easy but doable once you get the feeling for it. The way I do it is to hit and release the crouching strong as the punch is starting to pull back start the first revolution forward, this is the tricky part because you have to purposely do it late in order to not cancel in fireball. There is plenty of time to start the first fireball motion after the strong hits without worrying about canceling into the fireball. Then quickly begin the 2nd revolution forward as you link the forward kick and hit punch as soon as you hit forward to cancel into super… The trick is to do it smoothly and not too fast or you get DP instead of the super cancel… You don’t need to hold the crouching strong but it may help if your having problems with the neg edge interfering. Honestly this link requires a lot of “feel” to pull off, but once you get it and know how it feels you will have it and understand it. So, let me show you the command for it.
Cmp~:qcf: - :d:+Cmk - :df: - :r:+p (don’t hit the p in the :df: or a DP will come out)
The way I taught myself to do it was to practice the crouching mk to super until it was second nature then just add in the crouching strong link and think of it as just a starter move. Consider the C-strong link as a seperate part of the combo after if starts to hit…
Good luck,
Steve
Thanks so much! :wgrin:
Good video, but your wasting everyones time by doing it all over for 7 minutes !!. Keep your videos to the point and simple, glad I’m not a publisher for your strategy guide :P.
they are a bit long, but it shows more situational stuff.
keep it up
