Remembering Beeshu, the best maker(?) of pre-Street Fighter II joysticks

First of all thank you DarkSakul. Thanks for trying to help me.

All I say is that I’m not trying to anger people, and it seems the more I talk, even though I concede correct points you guys make, the longer it gets to explain the subtle differences. And it seems sheer length seems to cause more anger than quick, angry, somewhat generic criticisms.

I agree. The era where the right handed joystick came in most handy was New Challengers.

You said joystick moves are made more leient in later version of the games. I noticed playing SF4, I was able to pull off Rose’s Soul Throws easier with a left handed 360 stick, than I could ever pul off a Dragon Punch on a left stick for the original Genesis.

(based on SF30) Arcade SF1 is harder to execute specials than in SF2. The worst was TG16 Fighting Street (based off the Wii Virtual Console verison). I don’t think I ever pulled off a special without TGCD “cheat mode” because it combines precise joystick work with precise button timing.

I can’t fugure out hoe to copy abd oaste freedomgundams using the Andriod OS on non-editable.

“… Majority of people iut there do NOT care…”

Which means most people never thought about why video game systems before 1985 had ambidextetiyy as a feature, but when it became too expensive to mirror 3 buttons, let alone 6. And most target Genesis customers, people who grown up from the NES, assume just because its arcade like, it’s automatically better.

Kind if like the assumption i ofpeople i debate with in Blu-ray.com 3d and surround dound peoplr make. People addume communa like surround is better than surround headphones, or polar 3d is b etter than shutter 3D.

I hope people not emotionally attatchedvto their home theater can see the main reason communal speakets are used over headphones, is because of the econonics if scale. It’s cheaper to have a perfectly engineered room with communal speakets that don’t get earwax, than make disposable surround headset, or washable ones. Likewise polar 3d is better in cattle corral audiences of theaters, than Shutter 3d would be in sicual theaters.

But at home surround headphones have the advantge of controlling accoustics around your ear than building a perfect home theater room in an existung home. Likewise asega Master System proved you can add 3d to ANY tv than buying a theater like polarized screen just for an SMS game attachment. the only reason they coundn’t in post 2010 3DTVs was becausebyou only heard of ping from retro game players, and couldn’t figure out how to sync a shutter from an ecterbal device unaware of TV ping that can vary wildly.

So you can see how the theater influenses the home market. Surround jeadphones and shutter 3d were seen as inferior just because they were not theater-like.

People instincrively KNOW it’s different, and knowing most people fall into ruts, and dismiss challenges to their worldview until absolutizing their worldview works slaps them in the head, then they sobet up and try the alternative.

You only consider diet shen your a1c is 13.5 or you’re 230 pounds, and your mom pumps a prejudice of artifical seeeteners are worse. Mim was against me buying diet pop, until I asked the doctor, whats worse: weight and sugar problems or cgenical side effects.? He said weight and sugar problems are both more likely to occur, and more deadly than chemical side effects.

The only thing i chsnged was sugary drinks to fakely seeet drinks, i lost 5 pounds in 3 months with that 1 change, and even bettet a1c went from 13.5 to 9.1. In 3 months. And i made one little change.

In sf2 you had to banl on special misfires and have backup dyrategies, but if your close to 100 % in dpecial execution. You don’t have tobresort to plan b.

But the game evolved around the players, not vice versa. Instead of right sticks being a pros edge. they kill CRT TVs, overengineer combos. Give you breadcrumbs in training mode. But don’t truly teach you appropriate timing, maje combis-by-feel umpossible, require practice drills instead of learn by playing, made the only good blocking strategy “punishing going to the well once too often”, until low-ping hdmi tvs became possible.
