Someone tell me if this is the right way to RFC, cuz I don’t 100% trust Mapquest exactly since it said I’ll end up in Long Beach instead of Lakewood…

5: Merge onto CA-91 W toward RIVERSIDE/BEACH CITIES. 53.5 miles
6: Merge onto I-710 S toward LONG BEACH. 3.5 miles
7: Take the I-405 N exit toward SANTA MONICA. 0.5 miles
8: Take the exit toward SANTA FE AVE. 0.1 miles
9: Turn LEFT onto WARNOCK WAY. 0.1 miles
10: Turn RIGHT onto S SANTA FE AVE. 0.3 miles
11: Turn LEFT onto E CARSON ST. 0.6 miles
12: End at 2440 E CARSON ST LONG BEACH CA
BTW, I might need a team if there’s not enough people from the Riverside Area that are going… So, who wants a scrub they’ve never seen before play on their team?
Does anyone play 3s there on Fridays?
These directions sound wrong. Make sure you use the zip code
i think kenny should just sign everyone up, team or not and start pairing ppl up if necessary… just an opinion so noone gets left out, because ppl posting that need teams, and shouldn’t NOT go just cuz they don’t have one…
Yeah you should make a list of people with no team… >_<
I did, it gave me the same directions listed above. Lemme try Yahoo instead…
OK, here’s what Yahoo gave me; someone confirm if it’s the right directions…
-
Take the CA-91/I-215 NORTH exit towards BEACH CITIES/RIVERSIDE - go 0.6 mi
-
Merge on I-215 SOUTH - go < 0.1 mi
-
Continue on CA-91 WEST - go 31.2 mi
-
Take the CA-55 SOUTH exit towards COSTA MESA FWY/NEWPORT BEACH - go 4.7 mi
-
Take the CA-22 W exit towards GARDEN GROVE FWY WEST/LONG BEACH - go 13.0 mi

P.S. Things aren’t looking good for me to make it to the tourney; I’m probably gonna be a no-show, but I’ll definitely check out your later tourneys…
WAZZSUPPPPPPPPPPPPP!

yeah i’m gonna have a signup for teams, and a seperate list of whoever doesn’t have a team, so that they can team up.
ggxx was moved on to the ss cabinet, but sticks are pretty fucked up. right side hardly blocks down when your character is on the left side, and corners are just plain hard to find on both. buttons are hella close together also, like they are actually touching each other.
Thanks, i’m gonna get on it tomorrow morning. if any ggxx players, are there early, you can prolly help us point out any more problems with the cab.
They’re mostly right, but send you in the wrong direction.
Take the 405 S instead of North, and get off of Cherry (going north). Make a right when you get to Carson street. Go past the railroad tracks, and it will be on the right hand side. If you reach Paramount, you’ve gone too far.
Anyone else taking the bus from L.A.? If I want to check it out, it’ll take some work.
Every arcade’s worth seeing once, though. Heck, I flew to Northbrook, IL once…
There’s a good chance me and a couple of friends will be thurr today.
Someone better show up
My God…
somebody please replace those CvS2 sticks. They were literally shorting out, and for 2-4 seconds at a time, neither player could move at ALL.
Damn man this place could be the next big thing if the workers find and fix the problems with those sticks.
Are the sticks making cvs2 unplayable completely?
My friend and I are thinking of going to RFC tomorrow(friday). We’ll probably go for sure if there are gonna be some good players there, unlike last friday where there was next to zero competition.
just a show of hand please. Thanks
anyon going today?
im going today around 8.
hopefully someone goes.
if anyone should go today (saturday) around 10-ish, be sure to talk to a guy named Steve in regards to fixing the sticks. I told the big guy that keeps walking the floor if anything could be done to fix the cvs2 sticks (which randomly won’t register a lot of directions), and i got a stupid answer to the effect of, “it’s not the sticks that are the problem, it’s how you guys handle 'em” When i told him it could be the wiring, he gave me a blank look and didn’t know what the hell i was talking about, so, hopefully someone can contact this Steve guy and get stuff done.
3s was alright, though no one was there last night (friday), and i’m guessing marvel was okay, 'cause people were playing it without complaint (i think…), though, again, there weren’t many people.
