Reducing animated GIF size?

Hello! I’m new to the mishmash board and have never made an animated GIF avatar before. I decided to try with my last premo avatar.

Frankly, I like the original one more, but I would like to know how I can reduce the animated version’s size down to 48.8 kb (for future reference). Thanks in advance for your help/flames.

this thread should help you out a bit:

I have imageready 7.0 though…

No worries! I’m off to purchase a full legal copy of Adobe Photoshop CS2 right now!

WIIIIIIINK?

the option should be there in your software too

cutting effects helps too, opacity changes take up a lot of the filesize limit, and “tweening” anything is pretty much ggpo
