so i won my first match against a ryu 2-0. second match was against a rufus, i won 2-0. Third was against a bison, i lost 2-0 
Then I went up against a ryu in losers, I lost 2-1.

I had the chance to upload another replay today.
But I didnât bother, it wasnât exactly the best looking game, and I played against a real turtley sagat, more than your average. The only time he ever moved forwards was when he dashed after an FA to ultra me.
He didnât even fight to get out of a corner, thatâs how much he moved 
Iâm suprised I even got that far, Iâve had quite a bad day, in terms of playing. I only had like 4 or so matches, but even after a successful FA, I keep failing to dash, or Iâll sweep instead of c.hp -> tatsu etc. And I keep messing up resets by jumping away afterwards and all sorts.

Congrats to Obey. Although itâs not a high place, I still consider it a solid run. I hadnât had a tourney run since a 3S & Tekken 5 local one about 3 years ago, but I did pretty similar in them. Too bad the local scene in north NJ is non-existent, and I donât quite have the time or resources to go to NY (not only that, thatâs only the arcade version thatâs in Chinatown).
Is it just me, or is it natural for me as a Sak player to not be excited about being close to G-1? Iâm about 500 points away from G2-A, but to me, my âgoalâ was to get to G2-C. Weird, I know, but its just that when I look at uploads of G-1 finals and hearing about the joint from other sources, it just seems like a more glorified G-2 with a MUCH longer grind to it. To be honest, I only play championship mode now to just keep my senses up. Of course, I win my share of tourneys and runners-up, so I guess eventually Iâll get to it, but I sorta donât want to deal with the BS that runs there. Also, I just donât want to do normal player matches. It seems guys want to quit immediately after winning/losing to Sak. I dunno, just needed to get some thoughts out of my head.
Iâve found myself doing that âsmack yourself to gain adrenaline(?)â-thing Sak does in her opening sometimes before the match with her, if the last one went badly⌠
My thinking is, people do it in sports, so itâs gotta be good for something.
I am quite new to SF4 and I am currently learning the game.There are 2 characters that I enjoy using and its Blanka and Sakura.Learning two characters is too much for me so I want to main one of the two.Who shall I pick?I prefer using Sakura but I am better whit Blanka.
Also what are Sakura AA option other then c.HP,and when should i use shouken as a AA?

mp shouoken can hit dhalsimâs limbs if hes jumping back and throwing them at that downward angle and dash forward, hp shouoken is good at getting under akumaâs air fireballs, if the akuma sucks and isnât aiming them properly, but outside of that, I donât think her shouoken is that great at AA⌠Stick to c.HP, itâs awesome. :nunchuck:
I should play Sakura,she wait more fun then Blanka IMO.It just that some character give me one hell of a hard time whit Sakura,so i play whit Blanka to counter this.I am talking about E.Honda,Gen and Guile mainly,any tip againt them?Weirdly,I prefer Sakura againt Sagat(It so fun to harrast them whit c.MK near them so then can Tiger Shot).
But the biggest problem is that I donât event know how the hell Sakura is supposed to be play.I know Guile is defense while Sim is keep away,but Saku?
I say you kind of have to play around with her a little and see what works for you. Some people play her as a hardcore rushdown char, some are totally defensive, some are just all over and dont follow any pattern. She is far from a flow chart char and that is why I love her so much. I play her from a reaction standpoint and try to user her speed as my main offense! But I also probably user her hadukens more than any other Sakura player. Offline this works for me, but online with delay and lag, I get crushed a lot.
But to go with what Cookie said, yeah dont use Blanka, he is a homosexual and masturbates to rabbits
