He means the Ryu Combo Challenge on the front page, need to get the damage of the Metsu Hadouken down to 5 damage per hit.

Did it the “fun” way and experimented until I got it but you could lookup the damage scaling and work out how many hits you need before the Ultra and think of a combo that way
yeah the ryu combo challenge from this site lol. right now im trying to see how many hits i can rack up on elf. u can get a lot on him because his funny hit box. although i think its going to be just the 30 hit after doing the math. but if u do a hp shou fadc to standing hard it may be more. id try that one but i cant get that link for the life of me

I thought I understood why I got EX Otoshi instead of Ultra sometimes but now I’m not sure x_x;; I know Ultra has priority over EX Otoshi but when I looked at the inputs it clearly had D DB B D DB B at the end so what gives? The only thing I can think of is negative edge, if I hit KKK during the dash so it’s too early to Ultra then release when coming out of the dash I’d get some random special but why not Shunpuu then? sigh
:l: has to be the VERY last input before the KKK otherwise you’ll get an otoshi (only if you hit a :df: after the dash).
the tournament is at a gamecrazy in stockton california. and i like the dont loose advice lol. thats why im thinkin im going to use my mad katz fight pad. it what im most used to. im almost there with the stick but not quite yet. im also open to go the the norcal vs socal tournament the 21-22 of november. its only like an hour and a half away from were i live
Hmm well when I tried purposely ending with DF I’d still get Ultra sometimes, dunno. But if holding B prevents the Otoshi then I’ll have to try to force myself to always hold the final motions.
try ending with away and up from your opponent. it seems to work for me when i do that
I’ve finally been playing some sf4 tonight since weeks! Sakura is too addictive, I’ve got to get up in 4 hours :’-( But it was great fun though! Next week I’ll be playing a lot more…

Haven’t played SF4 except at school for like 3 weeks now. First was I got Tekken 6 a bit early so I stayed with that while playing Lili. Gave my copy to a friend a couple of days ago because I knew I wasn’t going to play it for awhile. Playing Magna Carta and Fifa for now.

I got in some games with someone from the Dan forums, thoroughly whooped my sorry ass. Only win I got was a straight 3-0 Sakura (me) vs Abel, that was only through some trickery and Abel’s poor wake-up game vs my constant pressure and momentum.
Was a mixture of him being too good and everything going wrong for me, so many dropped links and moves just not wanting to come out

Been playing Tekken lately, and I must say, the parallels between Asuka and Lilly are astounding.
Needless to say, Asuka is where its at. Borderlands is fun as well. I should go play SFIV sometime though…
I think these may just make SFIV more exciting. Its a good game, but I’ve tired from it and I need a break. The new announcer sounds pretty boss.

well just got done with my tournament and i placed 5th out of about 20 players all with sakura. i almost switched to akuma against a gen player just because i really didnt know the match up well, i never get to fight him. i kept trying to cr. hp his wall bounce to the straight kick. im not thinkin it works. The other guy i lost to was a guile/gief player. i destroyed his guile so he switched to his gief and it came down to the last match and he ended up gettin me but it it was a lot better than my first tournament were i lost my first two matches lol. didnt get anywhere at that tourney
