New review!
halfway through part 2 of the new review…the section “everyone is blind and retarded” is awesome
I actually really enjoy these reviews, I’ll be sure to check this out thanks for the tip.
I just blew 5 hours watching reviews for Phantom Menace, Avatar, and Attack of the Clones, when I have work to do. I’m going to hold off on that Revenge of the Sith.
This guys reviews are funny, and insightful. Some of the segments he interjects in them are ‘eh’ but that’s my only criticism. You sort of get used to the Larry Flynt voice and at times it makes what he’s saying even funnier.
Revenge of the Sith review along with the other Prequel reviews are on point. As much as i enjoy the prequels a little bit, he hit it on the nail with all the criticisms. I mean its a given that we all have torn these movies apart in discussions before but I actually like the insight he provides even with the ‘meh’ jokes put in there.
yeah the revenge of the sith review is good.
he is so right about all the dialogue that takes place with the characters either walking or sitting on couches. George Lucas…god damn
Wow. Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith are rated 6.4, 6.8 and 7.8 on IMDB respectively.
Time to kill time.
Some of it just seems like he’s saying the same thing over again across the 3 reviews, and most of it is stuff I already figured out for myself… but it’s clearly on point. The ‘Language of Cinema’ bit was excellent, and he made some good points about Star Wars (like giving every Sith a saber for no reason) that I didn’t really think about (since I’m not that big of a SW fan). I wish more people would do thoughtful, in-depth movie reviews like this guy.
I don’t mind the humor (even though I skipped the 'Plinkett hunter skit) or the voice. Does it make me laugh? No, but it breaks up the monotony of a super-long review. And without it, he’d just sound like a pompous, humorless geek.
out of 10? wtf…id expect it to be far lower…especially from those fat fucks who cry about evvvverrrryyything.
I love this guy’s reviews although I thought episode 3 and to a lesser extent 2 were great.
While he was on point with his criticisms, I didn’t feel like the humor he had in the first 2 reviews were there. He tried but it didn’t work as well. In the first review, when he said stuff like “they should have combined Qui Gon Jinn and Obi Wan Kenobi into one character…and called him Obi Wan Kenobi” and when he had the four people trying to describe Phantom Menace characters, I was cracking up.
Review was amazing.
Lol yeah or his whole qui gon GIN gag where the bottle and drinking noises would accompany his terrible decisions in the film

I have a feeling he like’s avatar
On one hand, I realize that Star Wars is geared towards kids (at least that’s what Lucas claims), so pointless flashy lasers and exploding robots definately would appeal to the younger target audience. (lol at trying to include Nsync or whoever) Yet, the prequels are filled with this boring politics storyline… definately not something that kids would find stimulating. Lucas was probably defending against accusations of the prequel’s flat story and weak character developement when he said the “it’s for kids!” bit. Did he forget that Star Wars has huuuge amount of adult fans?
I love this guy’s stuff. He’s so damn good at pointing out all of the stupid crap in this atrocities, and throws in some funny shit, too. His Star Trek movie reviews are pretty hilarious too.
This one wasn’t as funny(the cat fucking part made me laugh tough), but once again he nails on the head all of the issues about the film. When you see George Lucas sitting on his fat ass drinking coffee looking at blue screens, it’s pretty obvious how these things were such crap. Dude doesn’t even care about his shit, just hand over a check and fuck anything else.
