Ages ago my MS headset broke. Never liked the behind the head wrap around style anyway. So I’ve been using various cell phone headsets but none of them were 100% for one reason or another.
I like the kind that hang on the ear with a boom mic. But I can’t find a good one that doesn’t make everyone else echo.

my ms headset broke so i bought one of those 5 dollar madcat ones. kinda uncomfortable but gets the job done.

The Xbox Halo Headset from Plantronics is well worth it. My manager at Gamestop has one from his manager conference and he uses it for his cellphone. When I talk to him, it sounds like he’s next to me. The wireless I haven’t seen any specs but it’s made from Logitech. Coming soon to your Gamestop should be another one from Plantronics. They are like X10 and X20 headsets. Same technology with the Halo headset but the X10 is worn over the head and X20 is just like the regular XBox headset. The X10 and X20 headsets should be coming to Gamestop around Tuesday. Bug them about it!

Hey I got the X20 Headset from Plantronics and it’s awesome! It has that cellphone headset design but the it’s unique. It has an earbud and like a C-shaped cushion hugs underneath your earlobe! It is very comfortable and it’s clear. Just letting yall know.
I found out there Is a non-baby-puke-green halo headset. It’s basically the X20 that TheWiLL mentioned. However there’s not a lot of em on ebay at the moment. So, I just scored a M170, also by Plantronics. I’ve read good reviews so I’m pretty sure it’s at least as good. It’s also got mic-volume control (among mute & volume). So that’s a nice addition. I’ll post once it arrives.

Sweet man. I heard about them too. Plantronics is an awesome company. They make communications devices for hospitals, astronauts, etc. But the Halo Headset(in our stores we are getting a good amount of them) my manager got like a clear green Halo headset from the Manager conference. Prehaps it’s a prototype? The X20 Headset is the bomb and it’s so small that you can fit it in the PAS cord storage with the cords in the storage! The Gamestop I work at and the one nearby only received 1 X20 and 1 X10. It’s basically a test to see if people dig them. We are going to get only 1 next week but like 8 of the Halo headset.
