I havenā€™t used the new TE-S+, but I canā€™t imagine the new touch panel location being any worse for my grip style than the original location. My pinky finger would occasionally hit the turbo button on the old ones.

My mistake, Falkentyne corrected me. I had the wrong original pricing.

Um dude? WTF.
Thatā€™s the NORMAL PRICE.
Why is this in ā€œgood findsā€?

Same price on amazon with Prime shipping.

Am I missing something here?

Am I mistaken thinking these things were $299?

Yes. The VLX HAYABUSA is $299, not the TE2ā€™s.
The VLX are the premium of the premiums.

I believe this is the same thing:

For prices, always do you research, check multiple sources and when in doubt ask.

TE2+ used to be $229 USD, he possibly posted that Frys deal 13 days ago while it was still that price.

I recently purchased a Nintendo power glove on e-bay. I did this for three reasonsā€¦

#1) Itā€™s so bad!

#2) The novelty of having a relic of the 80ā€™s.

#3) I heard that it comes with four 4.5" flex sensors that are just as good as modern ones, and you canā€™t buy 4 flex sensors for what I got the power glove for. (38$ Vs 12$ per flex sensor.) The wire going to the glove was cut, so Iā€™m hoping that the flex sensors are in tact.

For anyone whoā€™s wondering how a 30 year old flex sensor could be as good as a modern one, theyā€™re like resistors. The more they bend, the more resistance they create. However, the built in micro controller wasnā€™t dynamic enough to measure the resistance with great accuracy. (It could measure 4 positions I think.) With an arduino, I should be able to get it to see about 255 different positions. Now thatā€™s playing with power!

Iā€™ll let you know how it all works out when I get my hands on it. Iā€™m hoping itā€™ll be more than just a show piece, haha!

I just got a HORI RAP PREMIUM VEWLIX Hayabusa (Red Version) delivered yesterday. Itā€™s a pretty sweet fight stick. Very heavy and durable. Pretty amazing. I donā€™t really like the Hayabusa buttons though, they are too sensitive. I think Iā€™m going to switch to Seimitsuā€™s like in my TE2.

I know one of you was probably bidding on this Hyperstick on ebay. Sorry. I wanted it more.

I bought a Wii console at the thrift store for $7. I took it home and discovered a Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn disc is in it. The disc alone goes for ~$60 on eBay. The Wii works too, so Iā€™m happy with this.

Got an NES dogbone controller for $5 at the flea market too. It was a good weekend.

$5 for a Dog Bone controller is really good.
