Thought so, even so still not a bad deal and if the buttons feel too off for you @oldskoolgaming you can get a set of replacements off a trading thread pretty cheaply.
I wish my greyâs survived their removal from my TE2, so iâd have extras but those claps seem to be made of paper.
I believe those are silent JLF switches though. If opening it up for those pictures was the first time heâs popped it open ever, itâd probably be easy to mistake it for an optical since the switches donât make sound.
EDIT: Just checked; the ones in the new silent JLF (blue restrictor) are D2RV-G**-SD2**s. Still, I recall reading somewhere that the sound is still greatly dampened on the non-SD2s.
Yeah its silent joystick. Soft thud as opposed to clicking sound. Im loving it and may just swap out the buttons with Sanwa and FA silencer foam pads i got
Also i just picked up a madcatz x360 se full boxed for $10. And a blaze twin joystick the owner was selling for $5 but when i arrived he told me if i did not bother opening to check heâd give it to me for free. the bus ride was $3 so I think these were really great new year presents for myself.
A Hori VX can be had for $25 free shipping on ebay. Its categorized as âfor parts or not workingâ because Seller reports that the LT button doesnât work but everything else does. (buttons are terrible, needs to be modded regardless) Great case and pcb for someone who wants a fun little project.
$25 for a modifiable Xbox 360 stick is an awesome price.
