Yukawa Box Edition NTSC-J Dreamcast, Dreamcast GD Vol.3, Third Strike and Lotus Challenge on the MegaDrive (not pictured) all for £50 from a shop/collector in Birmingham, UK.
As with a lot of the Yukawa Dreamcasts, it’s got that tobacco yellowing all over the console and controller. Thinking of doing a worklog of me getting it back to its original color in the new year
hair salon hydrogen peroxide, the stuff that comes as a cream works well for sun damage, I don’t know about Smoke damage but its worth a try.
The hair salon hydrogen peroxide works even better than making that Retr0-bright nonsense as you don’t have to mix anything and dilute its strength.
You will need plenty of UV light for it to work, so you need a UV lamp or wait till spring.
Till then maybe a Mr Clean Magic Eraser would work to clean off what you can.
Also got a Virtua Fighter Box Model-A Sega Saturn (picture to follow) for my birthday last month, with the classic Model-A overheating issue, so I need to either replace the power supply with a Model-B PSU or mount a fan to it…lots to do in the new year!
Thinking of going for the PSU swap so it all still looks original, but unsure yet.
100 flat from a Kijiji meetup. The stick alone usually goes for 110 so I think I got a really good deal with the game included. Now I’m ready for Pokken. Can’t wait to mod this with good parts. Only downside is the guy threw out the original box
When you consider that Wii sticks are pretty much extinct, that makes it seem a bit more reasonable. BNIB is anywhere from 110 and up. Some scalper on amazon.ca wants more than 1000 (yes, more than one thousand dollars) for it…
I’m still really pissed off about it, I’ve been pretty loyal to Humble since building my PC and I don’t think I can trust them again after such a cheap con. Those DRM Free games are virtually unplayable.
Tried to purchase, but it didn’t let me ship out of AU. I sad, but thanks guys for posting more deals. Loving this section more when people are posting deals.
