Donāt know if this is the right place for this, but Amazon dropped their prices on Round 1 TEās to 99.99 and SEās for the PS3 to 39.99 and for 34.99 for the 360. Ordered 2 360 SEās to mod for cheap.

Not game related really, but I just bought a new 27" 2.66ghz i5 iMac for around $1640 shipped. Retail price is $1999.99 plus 5% tax for me so I saved over $450 or about 20%.

Went to Gamestation in town today. They had one PS3 TE price marked at 49.99. When I went to buy it, the guy said that it wasnāt on the system yet so I could have it for 40 cash! Took it without hesitation lol. Was really pleased

Yeah, pretty damn lucky! Only thing that worried me was that I didnāt get a receipt so Iāve no clue how my warranty thatās on the TE will work, or even if there is one. Theyāre nice guys though, said that if i ever have any problems with it, just to go to either of them directly.
OT though; Playing on stick for the first time is pretty damn fun, such a learning curve though.
Unlikely - the 40 you just spent went straight inside that employeeās pocket. It would have taken a matter of seconds for the store manager to enter that stick into EPOS stock, so yeah - sounds dodgy.
On the plus side, TEās are pretty solid so you shouldnāt have a problem with it.
Gamestation have had their brand new SEās and TEās on sale for a while now between 20 - 55, so you were lucky to find one.
Oh yeah, I know full well that I was fortunate to find one, and where the money for it went! If anything happens with the PCB or any other component, iām pretty competent with a soldering iron and already have a MC Cthulhu, JLF and OSBFās laying around.
At the end of the day, regardless of the warranty - a TE for 40 is a steal.
