Nerf anti-airs for street fighter characters, buff anti-airs for Tekken characters. People say anti-airs are ass but people are still doing it and it works. Tekken side however…Its probably because its early but I have no trouble anti-airing Tekken characters with Ryu and Ken

i dont now about your list as i dont know much about every character… but ibuki shouldnt be on there as she has no invincible reversal that is tag cancelable.
point being if you dont know what your talking about dont step up. your entire list is now suspect cause you put a character in there that has no reversal options. and people have already said that much of the cast DOESNT have viable reversals.
anywho kratos has a point, its VERY hard to tag defensively as most defensive moves that have invincibility have no range… this basically mean that in order to “safely” tag out you need to get close to the opponent… which defeats the purpose of “safe” tagging. ie if i have akuma and have 10% health but am at neutral what are my otions to tag? i can teleport back then tag but that is punishable. i can jump or dash in and do something like jumpkick> land> srk xx tag. but thatonce again is easily counterable.
the best option in most cases is to just tag and take the punish combo since it WONT KILL your second character. however damn near any hit would have killed your point character if they have less than 1/3 health and sometimes even if they have half health.
the problem that kratos poses is a valid one. in mvc3 you can safely tag by doing super into install super or some other safe on block super. in this game many times no matter how much meter you have you dont have any real valid ways to tag out without taking a punish combo. it SHOULDNT be free, i agree with that. however it shuldnt be impossible either. making people spend a meter for it to be “free” is a good choice imho… but in this game you cant get to the positions to spend the meter. which gives the first team to land a hit a HUGE ADVANTAGE.

OK I assumed Ibuki’s EX Kick was invincible. Seems its not. However the rest of that list is accurate. Too bad that that’s still 28 (i forgot able) out of 38 characters that DO have reversals. If 3/4 of the characters didn’t, that would mean only 10 characters have reversals, when in actuality, only 10 don’t.
Looks like you and your friend are way off base.
Also, on the subject of tagging, are you good enough to land a light punch?

no, actually you are wrong. and no im not acting like i know how this game is played. i dont. that doesnt stop the fact that you “assumed” ibukis ex kazakiri was fully invincible. how many other characters are you “assuming” about? EXACTLY… we dont know.
also there is NO SAFE way to tag that i know of from a neutral game position. ive watched streams and experimented myself.
but i’ll ask you then since you seem to act like you know stuff:
point out a safe way to tag from neutral please (with ANY character).
oh, you cant walk in, jump in, or dash in… cause those are all unsafe.

Maybe tweak the walk speeds… ? some characters seem way too slow for no reason
Tweak the Damage for normals… universal damage is wacky, but of course this would have to be done with balance in mind.
One big one is make Rufus’ divekick NOT knockdown against airborne opponents. He’s a bit of a monster right now against characters with poor AA (more than half of them) and frankly having his divekick knockdown opponents trying to go air-to-air or even just trying to jump away seems a bit silly. I’m not talking about counter-hit either, but just regular air-to-air hit… Rufus still gets an opportunity to pressure off of it, but it seems a little absurd that he should get a knockdown (into combo).
Bump up the release of DLC characters. The tactical advantage that some players will be getting could kill the competive scene.
Increase the price of the game, so I can remember how much more money I’m saving.
Only thing I want is for Law’s cr.hp to have faster startup and his summersault to actually be useful, meaning come out faster and have a better hitbox so that it can actually anti air properly. I’m loving the game(unlike most of the whiny fucking bitches on these forums who don’t know how to play it properly.) Really? You can’t fucking tag out? Hows about you you don’t press it on wakeup. Here’s a better option, block and wait, or backdash on wakeup(invincibility out the ass) and then raw tag or even Alpha Counter, or maybe try tag cancelling. FFS. And cross cancels are a waste of meter? Have you tried fighting Rolento as Law? There is literally nothing he can to get out pressure besides the alpha counter. Or how about fighting Law, his pressure and traps are ridiculous, AC definitely comes in handy against the majority of the Tekken cast and some of the SF ones, too. Not everyone has a 3 frame DP.

sigh, some people need to learn to read. tagging isnt hard. tagging SAFELY, is the problem, and no, backdashing then raw tagging isnt anywhere near safe. yes i do it, yes i sometimes get away with it. most of the time i dont… cause it isnt safe.
anywho as far as people whining your whining about law… i dont have a problem with it cause this IS a rant thread of sorts… so why do you have a problem with others ranting? also ibuki doesnt have an invincible reversal. but i deal with it. the problem with being unable to SAFELY tag out, is a problem that every character shares afaik. no one good is going to LET you into range to do your lockdown move into tag cancel. the will just hover at that spacing where they can punish your raw tag, and stop your offensive efforts. it can be gotten around, like anything, but the point is that the ways to get around it all come with VERY big risks that can lose you the round, or you can raw tag and let your second character get half there life taken away.
thats the thick of it: you either risk losing the round trying to get into position to safe lockdown tag or you just say fuck it and raw tag and eat the punish combo.
personally i wish that there were more safe options to tag, but maybe thats just me.
