I’ve been playing FFBA2 nonstop and I still need to learn the high level techs and combos. I’m down to play anything Real Bout on 2DF with anyone from SRK, even if it means getting smashed in the learning process. I just want to get to know the games with the convenience of having a knowledgeable player to communicate with rather than getting torn up by some random Brazilians .
can ANYBODY here hit all 3 of the geysers of terrys tripple geyser after the power charge. rephrase, against ryuji yamazaki.
any combo (df+A, C, C, C, b- ff+A tripple G or A, B, f+C, b+C, b-ff+A tripple G). against everyboody else i can hit all 3 (catch them as late as possible), and even combo on with a rising tackle if they are close to the wall. but against ryuji…? only 2 for some reason. wtf is wrong with his sprite?
man thanks to ‘fiol’ talking about ffs that reminded me of rbs… i hated the ff series… but loved the real bout series… last i played it against someone was a long ass time ago when i was back home… but i think i played once in a while in my neogeo emulator… i used hon-fu… and was pretty decent for being a 12-13 year old at that time i could land his s._p. power combo on 16-17 year olds lol…
anyways since i just recently got to play it on 2df …i wanted to know some advanced strats with hon-fu… he was my main… i also always wanted to play as sokaku… didnt really like him just for the fact that he couldnt combo his supers… but ya since it was back home …i didnt really know like all this infinite stuff with sokaku …and whos top-tier and whos not… anyways i know how to play the game… so dont need help with comboing… just advanced strats plz… with sokaku and hon-fu…
Really dig this game. Only thing I don’t like is having to hit two buttons for super (for most of the cast anyway). I mostly play Real Bout 2, so I don’t know if the two button supers apply to the first one. Pisses me off that it still hasn’t been added to GGPO, it should be an easy 1-2-3 addition.
I just got into SNK recently via the Playstation 2 collections, and I have to say that this is pretty close to my favorite game out of all of them. It’s a crime that it doesn’t get more attention.
More of a Real Bout 2 question -since Deadly Rave beat the shit out of me- is Rick banned in Real Bout 2? Lol. Seriously, that is just a stupidly overpowered character.
Anyone play Real Bout 2 on 2DF/Supercade? If so, what time of day? I’m on the East Coast. I know Deadly Rave Neo plays this. I’m trying to learn it, I think I made a mistake by focusing on Yamazaki (who I think will be my main) without first understanding the mechanics of the game. So, I’m going with Terry and having fun discovering his combos.
Anyone want to face me in RBS come to evo2k11. Last year the Vegas arcade cab crew had rbs on a neomini. Needless to say I was beasting on everyone that got on the sticks! Who want some?!?!?
I’ve played Mai since fatal fury 2 and thought I learn someone new for a change so I tried duck king out and had a bit of trouble learning his tornado special but after a few practices with him so it’s kinda a Ty between him and bob Wilson still don’t know whose better because they share similar fighting styles.
if anyone has interest in this game still, bug me and we can play over supercade or nFBA if you have it, I’m also going to be at NEC :>
my favorite game from the real bout and also fatal fury series hands down, worst part about the game is probably Billy imo, but line shifts are good enough to deal with his BS
