Hello, I’m new to the forum and I’m looking for feedback, appreciate it before hand.
First, a small introduction :
I’m looking for the best PC stick for the buck, which I’m going to be using for Tekken 7.
First time I used and owned a stick was on PS3 during Tekken Revolution launch and then for DOA: Last Round.
It was a Mad Catz SFIV TE red cover, I never bothered changing anything on it, and I loved it. It’s heavy and felt like I’m planting my hand on a sturdy table.
The only problem was that the edge of it was very sharp, and the ball of the writs-hand-socket would roll on top of a “staircase” (first the abrupt lower edge, then secondary elevated plate caused a slight pinching after few hours.
I DO like though, the spacing of buttons in relation to where wrist and fore arm sits.
So, having said a little bit, I’m now looking for a suggestion to pick between Pro. 4 Kai and Pro N.
Pro N looks a lot like Mad Catz TE I used to have, just in size and where the buttons are located, and it doesn’t have the “center plate” with smooth “edge” which rubbed after a while.
Though, it does have a sharp edge to it as well, and if not wrist I’m worried about sore forearm after couple hours.
WHICH, brought my attention to Pro 4 Kai, because it has these very nice hand rests that slope.
My only issue after looking at Pro 4 Kai is that IT APPEARS(I never seen in person) that the button placing is significantly lower than TE and Pro N.
Is Pro 4 Kai and exclusively “wrist only” play, OR is it just an illusion because the edges are shaved down, and in fact its the same or similar distance?
It boils down to : Which one is more comfortable?(not wrist or fore arm grind), Are they both pretty hefty on the lap?
If I get Pro 4 Kai instead of Pro N - since I had a TE will I have to “adapt” or is the space of buttons negligible?
I appreciate the feedback thx.
