Just put in my order for the stick on amazon and I’m wondering if anybody else is using or has used the Atrox for X1? I ask because I noticed that the stick doesn’t come equipped with an audio jack which means no headset support. I’m actually hoping that somebody can point me in the direction of either a headset that’s fully wireless for the X1 (but im pretty sure there isn’t one…yet) or some information on if its possible to add a headset jack to a stick.
I’d appreciate any help I can get on this issue because it looks like I might be that guy using kinect to chat when playing fighters…and that’s not good
My TV does have a headphone jack, but I wasn’t aware that I could communicate with game chat connected that way. Will I need an accessory to do that or should it be plug & play?
Thanks for the help but ain’t no way I’ll be using kinect to chat. No way in hell I’m gonna be that dichead forcing friends and randoms to listen to my wife & sons commotion in the background. Guess I’ll just have to do without until Microsoft gets there heads out of there asses and makes a fully wireless headset. Still can’t wrap my mind around why the Atrox doesn’t support headsets, I mean the damn stick is exclusive to xbox one. oh well, thanks for the help.
well that much I know, It just seems strange since the stick is licensed by MS but its not that much of a surprise since it was only a hand full of 3rd party controllers/ arcade sticks that were allowed to be wireless on the 360 so its no mystery that Microsoft is tight with there hardware.
Thanks for that, but those are way to expensive, they cost more than the arcade stick that I plan to use them with. I know a lot of people use them but I’ve always found it ridiculous for a gaming headset to be priced at $200-$300.
Well, when you consider that audiophile headsets go for even more, and that gamers, especially professionals do need sound clarity similar to that of audiophiles…
well I can definitely understand that since I own pretty high grade cans in my recording studio. But personally I don’t use my gaming headset for the game audio so in my case I would be paying $230 for a headset for chat only. I’m actually happy with the headset that came with my Xbone but as I’ve said its not compatible with the Atrox or any other arcade stick currently on the market for the Xbone as far as I know.
I’ve actually heard a lot of people say that turtle beaches aren’t “built to last”. to quote a friend of mine “they’re priced to last the life of the console but not built to last the life of the console”
But I honestly cant argue with your statement since I’ve never owned or used a pair.
If you are careful with your things, Turtle Beach is fine.
but if you are a bit rough with your property, the turtle beach isn’t worth it.
I No longer go for gaming headsets as I find 99% of them all suck, I now look at the lower end of the audiophile headphones and get a separate mic that attaches to the headphones.
So I got my Atrox today and I’ve found a workaround. The Atrox does not register as a device under the devices & accessories in the settings, so you can have a controller assigned to the same profile with a headset connected for the chat while using the Atrox to play.
@financialwar dropped his/her/it’s stick and bent it. Now he/she/it is all salty that his/her/it’s Razer Atrox stick is not indestructible.
Just Ignore financial, he/she/it being a troll. He/she/it even made a thread to rant about how he/she/it broke his Razer stick and the mods told his/her/it to STFU and had the thread locked.
now if ppl are going to be salty and throw there sticks let them. I just got my on Friday. its a really good stick. now if u throw ur stick because u got salty that’s on u. its just like Darksakul said ignore the money cost. you get wat u pay for.
