nice falcon thats a pretty bad matchup for him.
Your marth was scrubby, but not too bad, you need to not be so damn predictable though, even though forward air is good, its not super safe.
Good:
-good edge guarding
-spot dodging projectiles is good most of the time. Usually people throw projectiles to position their opponents, spot dodging can mess some projectile heavy opponents up.
-decent positioning, you were able to hit with edge of your sword for the most part.
Bad:
-Its pointless to directly slash at your opponent when they have their shield up or know its coming.
-Try to cut down on slash spamming. Only slash spam if you know you can safely get away afterwards.
-You used spot dodge correctly most of the time. But don’t fall into the trap of using it all the time. You spot dodged well probably because you knew Link’s moveset, but against characters you are unfamiliar with, hold off on spot dodging until you know when to use it. Use spot dodges correctly, not all the time.
-You don’t have to always finish the combo-B move.
-You missed a few opportunities to grab. So did your opponents actually.
That was the 2nd best falcon I’ve ever seen:tup:

when you jump short…try not to run in to him or get to close…in fact…try to jump short but while in air, move away from your oppentent…that way you are still able to land a hit and be at a safe distance…
DS OoS is a good way to to put some space between you and the opponent, and you don’t seem to use it much, if at all.
SHFF’ed Nairs aren’t a good approach.
Vary your attacks. DB isn’t a good way to space, it’s there to punish. Sometimes you use Dtilt, which can completely shut down Falcon’s game but you don’t use it enough.
Good offstage playing tho.

You’re playing WAY too aggressively and getting punished for everything you do. Versus CF just camp and zone your ass off and there’s absolutely nothing CF can do.
But damn that walltechjump to forwardB spike was too good.
