Could be that Yahoo Jump, the run or a mix, like Birdie (V skill during the dash is the roll, up v skill is that yahoo jump, neutral is that backflip he did before the HK crush Counter)
Hard to tell (because that run could be a Fuerte like run, with Falcon Spire, roll and backflip as a followup and that jump could be his regular jump, even though I don’t think so)

His grounded projectile is more or less Wind Storm from Mega Man 6, and his CA is not unlike Tornado Man’s flying animation…

Yeah his projectile immediately made me think the airman power.
It’s annoying knowing that if I was there I would’ve just immediately tested his V-Skill, V-Trigger and his normals. I know it’s a games convention and majority of players are just going to be mashing special moves… Still I’m impatient.
He still looks to be quite early in the model/effects stages as the wind effects on his projectile especially look really place holder.
So here’s a question for you guys. Now that Rashid is revealed, what does this mean for the leaked list?

But you can’t just pull a name like Rashid out of a hat for a random leak, and it’s not like R Mika who already existed.

His V-Skill is that tumble kick move that goes through fireballs. In the footage he gains V meter when he hit’s the opponent with it. I realized this should have been obvious because V-Skill = Anti-Zoning.
I’m still not sold on Juri/Sim. The KenBogard leak had the names of the new characters, sans Necalli and never mentioned them, but Rashid/Zen/Laura were there.
All-in-all, quite happy with Rashid. Can’t wait to see what his alt costumes look like.
That list was discussed in another thread. It’s false because it only has 12 names and there’s already 5 revealed characters not in it (Bison, Birdie, Vega, Cammy and Nash).
It seems to have borrowed from Ken Bogard’s leak which only mentioned the names of 3 of the new characters and some mechanics/system stuff which so far has been accurate. The only error was Rashid being from africa I think.
You are putting two leaks together and remembering it as one. The zen/rashid/laura leak was from ken bogard and didnt name any returning characters, and named vtrigger.
There was another “full roster” leak that included all those characters you listed, it had nothing to do with the ken bogard leak
I don’t think he has a command run, that’s just what his dash looks like. If you watch the long gameplay footage, as mashy as it is, it’s pretty clear that the running animation is his dash, and if he has a command run they never activate it despite mashing out every single other special move he has.
Fair enough. I never really pay attention to leaks so I got confused.
Back to Rashid. How many say the wind is natural and how many think it’s C.Viper Gadget-esc?

I may be wrong but didn’t he also gain V meter with his tornado kick ? Look at 5:53, he gains meter with each time he hit with the tornado.
