Rashid General Thread: Desert Storm - second new character

This doesnt make any sense at all. Theres no point in Kara throwing if the normal doesnt move your character forward. None of the normals u listed moves him forward.

Some of you guys need to just stop posting this phantom tech. 99% chance you have no clue what youre talking about and seeing as how simple and basic this game is, if you’ve figured something out today, it was probably figured out pretty early yesterday.

Probably some very specific anti air scenarios as well. But from a grounded combo, VT is most likely the only way.

I think s.hp xx hk fireball xx vt roll leaves neutral

HK fireball in general seems to be neutral or slightly + on block, but the other versions are negative.

some rashid vs karin gameplay by me
I am working on a 14 mins rashid tutorial atm in which I am trying to cover everything from match ups, punishes, setups, rashid’s pressure system and some other stuff

It’s not safe vs ken’s mp dp and that’s 4 frames.

Seems to be that way. I couldn’t get it off anything else nonmatter how high I launched him. Vtrigger also seems to increase howbfar you fly back from eagle kick.

V-trigger propels all his moves. If you do f.hp immediately after activating you can overhead from 3/4 screen. qcf.p also gets you right next to them and it’s either neutral or -1.

Doopliss good shit I was trying that f+m to ex fireball for awhile, glad that works. Also those critical counter combos are cool I was working on some from St.m St.h frametrap but often you are so far it doesn’t work : ( still I’m going to look into use some of those! Thanks

Right I know that but the actual bounce back goes further making it look safer

Animation transition of cr.hp whiff into standing looks kinda glitchy

Its pretty good,but the opponent can jump between the hp and the qcf +hk. Mix it with qcf+ lk. Cant jump it, safe from right range.

am I the only one who thinks rashid’s stMK is godlike ? hits at almost half screen when opponent is in the corner and a good way to OS VTrigger too

Interesting… AA cr.MP xx QCF+HK xx V-skill (VS from now on) for pressure/combo on hit.

AA cr.MP xx VS for side switch/get out of corner.

Stolen from gooteks stream, credit to him: HP xx EX qcf+K xx VS, neutral jump mk will cross up. The wind from the EX fireball will push you forward as you fall causing you to cross up. Works Off cr.MK cancel as well.

Easily the funnest character in the game, I’m having a blast with him where most of the cast feel somewhat limited.
What are you guys anti-airing with? Any of the normals work?

That’s pretty swag. His wind projectile is probably the most unique projectile I’ve seen in a long time in any fighter.
