Could be.
But we could see every standing normals during the gameplay video and I don’t think that Helena like double descending slap isn’t the Forward HP. I’m not saying you’re wrong (because that’s a new character and I know as much as you) but that seems crazy to me that a long startup move like that could just be a Standing Fierce (especially since it looks like an overhead)
I think Rashid is a pretty cool character! … But, I really need to do research on this character. A character I would like to sub in the near future.
Also…
It’s probably better that way. SF English voices can be bit or miss with accents. I can’t stand Fuerte and Abel’s English voices due to their shitty accents.
I don’t see why people keep saying he looks like he plays like El Fuerte. I think what they really just want to say is " it looks like he will be annoying to play against " instead …lol …
Maybe it’s just his mannerisms that make him seem like Fuerte.
And the thing is El Fuerte rules the ground , this guy looks like he rules the skies more.
I could only wish that El Fuerte had a projectile or a divekick …
If anything he has moves that resemble Vega,Gen,Rolento,Yun and Yang more, with all those flips, wall jumps, dive kicks and rolls.
he’s not annoying like El Fuerte because that character relied on a safe 50/50 hit or grab that avoided most anti airs/reversals. Rashid is all attacks so far and seems like elf in that he runs and can jump off walls and slides (rolls in this case). more like Rolento i imagine, going back and forth baiting most of the time.
i wonder if he can set up some crazy stuff in the corner with Vtrigger and that wall slide down.
Not sure how to feel about this one. All I can think of when I see new characters like this “Damn, after this time developing fighting games, this what they come up with?”
Its not like its the first arabic fighter ever… Maherl in Breakers… Pullum in EX…
None of his moves are new or look noteworthy.
His design isn’t memorable either… The only thing that stands out is the scouter…and thats because I think of DBZ, not SF.
