Well, I’ve heard of a story where a girl got raped and her dad cut off her head and carried it around town, because she put shame on his family.
I don’t know if it was an isolated incident, but if it’s common practice, maybe this woman was like: “Fuck it, I’m beating you guys to it!”
Different cultures have different values. Some places, getting raped repeatedly in private (hoping the offender will eventually leave them alone) is better then having your family and honor tarnished by photos being introduced and getting into a “He said, She said” public argument, where in their culture even if true the woman would still get a great deal of blame.
Hope she gets tried in a fairly moderate part of her country and they do find evidence proving blackmail other wise, she is probably looking at some sort of punishment.
I’m going to sound like a prick for saying this but was her version of the events confirmed. It is not as though the Man is in a position to say ‘‘No I didn’t threaten her we just had a consensual affair’’.

The convenient thing about “street justice” is that it completely misses all the procedures ect. to prove the person on the receiving end of it actually commited the crime they have been punished for, some country’s don’t even trust their courts enough to prove someone guilty enough to have a death sentence so that being administered without a court seems a bit suspicious.
Don’t get me wrong, if he did do it, he deserved to die and she deserves the most lenience the legal systems over there can give, but it does need to be proven that he’s done what she accused him of, else what’s to stop anyone commiting murder and just saying the victim had done something to deserve it?
Second to smoking you mean.

Depends on this.
How their culture sees the moral grounds, which obviously none of us are of aware of in that culture.
We need more people in this world like this woman, who aren’t afraid to fight back.
Granted, she’ll probably have psychological trauma for the rest of her life due to the fact that she had the stones to cut a man’s head of and then parade it around town. But still, the guy got what he deserved. Hopefully the judge has enough common sense not to send this woman to jail (assuming that the allegations she made against him were true).
Shit like this always makes me think of the movie “I Spit On Your Grave”.

Seriously, I am glad this woman was able to confront and kill her attacker, but she’s going to have PTSD the rest of her life.

There’s no guarantee she’s insane just because she cut someone’s head off. Highly likely, since it does imply a lack of empathetic morality on a very large scale, but it’s still not %100 certain.
Guess they both got head one way or the other
At a certain point empathy is eroded by tyranny.
Personally, it sounds like an important function of war.
I’m not saying it’s guaranteed, but it would be the best course of action if she could pull it off in court.
At least if it were the US Legal System, she’d get off scot-free, be sent to a center for mental health, and she might actually recover and be a functioning member of society after she left.
While shooting an armed intruder intending to rape is self defence, I’m fairly certain parading a disembodied human head through the streets has to be breaking some sort of law.
