So I just upgraded to a RAP4 Kai since I needed a PS4 stick, but I’ve been having issues with the joystick. Whenever I hold a direction and then let it go to neutral by itself, the bounce actually causes the joystick to input the opposite direction briefly. For instance, I was trying to do While Standing moves in Tekken (full crouch to neutral transition moves) but everytime I do, my character would sidestep (tap up). Thoughts?
Training yourself to avoid letting go of the lever completely would be your best bet.
You can put in a stronger spring to prevent some of the deflection/bounce-back.

wow, I literally posted this same exact quest and got the video from above lol.
It bothered me at first too, but then I put some silicone grease and cleaned out the parts, and it never happened to me again. I changed the lever in the end though lol
Thanks for the answers! I like the shorter throw distance but that bounce input is annoying sometimes. I found a workaround without having to buy a new spring.
