You’re comparing a forum to an IRC channel… Get real. Unlike #dream_cancel, #snlplaymore is never empty. You see those nice wikis on Dreamcancel? Most of the information is not only a c/p from the SRK wikis, but quite a lot of it is also written by people who participate in #snkplaymore.
um have you even been to the channel. I’d be surprised if you were there, asked a question and weren’t give a proper answer. The other option is to go out dreamcancel and have someone from #snkp provide you with info or go into the dreamcancel channel and have no one around to even talk with.
I don’t think dc.com should be compared to #snkp, dc has a lot more things going on than #snkp. In other words “there is no competition cause we are the best”
The only thing holding Dreamcancel back is the lack KOF players. If there were more players, I’m sure more people would be inclined to help because there would be some sort of actual community. But that isn’t the case and there are hardly any people that want to play KOF. So here we are, perpetually in limbo.
And it’s not like anyone said you can only use one, most post pretty much said use both #SNKplaymore & DC. God some of you guys are jumping at ghost for no reason especially when half of you haven’t even been in the channel and only hear about it through Webster & DG.
If a lot of people are saying the same things and expressing the same feelings on the attitudes and views expressed at #snkplaymore channel, then there is clearly something wrong…IMO.

Yes, I have been there plenty but the reason I stopped going to the channel is because I grew tired of reading all the negative and pessimistic attitudes about the game, the players and the community (or lack thereof). I saw more of that kind of talk than I saw gameplay discussion. It kinda feels that a few of you guys have lost interest KOF or SNK games at all or have do not any passion for it at all…
The only person that frequently played KOF on GGPO with me that came by to the channel was Emil. I played Deadly Rave Neo once, Omerta maybe twice and Rogueyoshi just once. So, I agree on what NecronomiCRON posted a while back about how it seems that many of the regulars on the channel don’t play that much at all. I thought the little KOF2002 gauntlet Anakron put together was a good idea and it was fun but I admit, I slowly stopped going to the channel because of what I expressed in the first paragraph. I only came to the channel to look for people to play with and to just say ggs, then bounce.
It is clear that a few of you guys are rubbing people the wrong way which is the reason people are a little apprehensive about going to the channel or even coming back.
