Ranked Nubs Online - My new video series with commentary

So since I don’t win enough in G1 I decided to start a series on beating up on ranked n00bs for revenge for the G1 losses and when I was a nub myself (though I still kinda am…)

Let me know what you think of the pilot episode and your thoughts on Ranked mode players in general. To me it seems its mostly just about baiting (sometimes) blocking and punishing. Just sticking to basics. But anyway its not like I give any advice in the vids (not much). I don’t think I’m very good myself but I find it easy to beat most of the ranked players left. Only once in a while I have to sit up y’know?

Haha that was very enjoyable. You have a nice voice! A little low but the music was pretty good as well.

Some pretty good insight too, ranked mode is just a sad state, and no Guiles ever FADC their flash kicks.

I subscribed and anticipate the next installment lol.

I only play Ranked for shits and giggles, I never take it seriously.

I never thought about using FADC on my flash kicks. Maybe that’s why I tend to lose so much with Guile. LOL, silly me.

i try to fadc flash kicks but i haven’t played enough sf4 guile, i played more sf2 so im used o that more.

There wasn’t a single wakeup where that first Ryu you fought didn’t mash Shoryuken. Jeez.

I FADC my Flash kicks when im in the moment then i just sit and think to myself as they fall freely… “Why the hell did i do that” :rofl:

I have to play ranked a lot because it’s the only way for me to get a decent connection to someone

I end up shfiting through all of the online modes every 10 minutes to look for better connections

I hate ranked because even though perople have bullshit SRK spamming playstyles they still catch me all the fucking time with them

You should make a video where you only light punch shoryuken. Trust me it works because they will always lose to it. Then when they get wise, mix it up with an EX shoryuken and or the ultra.

Haha thanks for the comments and suggestions guys! I’ll get started on Episode 2 some point today. I might just do that lp srk like you suggested Akuminator. I have a few other ideas floating around in my head. At least 5 episodes worth. I’ll keep posting them here. Cheers everyone! :smokin:

I really enjoyed that. I think you’re voice might be therapeutic. Haha. A completely different style than most of the “well-known” SF’ers on youtube. Definitely worth a subscription.

lol, nice… Personally when i play on Ranked i choose Random for fun, i like playing as anyone but in G1 i’m not effective with everyone.

What part of england are you from? Sounds like a London accent but i could be wrong. & nice sakura, besides this isn’t all just revenge… Playing on this gives you a chance to preactice links & punishes in an active enviroment, not as hardcore as real play, not as lax as training mode.
