Heres how i see them…this is really getting old but ill throw my 2 cents in… jsut remember that any character can beat any character at any given time and some tier 3 chars. can even handily beat some top tier characters at any given time.
Tier 1: in any order
1. Dhalsim
2. Sagat
3. Balrog
4. Ryu
TIER 2: in any order
5. Guile
6. Vega
7. Bison
8. Honda
9. Deejay
10. Chun li
11. Ken
TIER 3: in any order
12. Fie long
13. Cammy
14. Blanka
15. Zangief
16. Thawk
Now many may say Thawk can beat guile adn things of such… Yes he can and i have seen it but guile will do much better vs other characters that thawk looses to for free such as honda or ken. There are mnay other situations where this applies such as Ryu vs Zangief, Skilled Blanka vs anyone… Red ken vs most characters…etc… ok enough blab!
Another pretty good ranking except I think you rate Guile waaaay too high at 5th. He gets mauled by Vega. Mauled by Old Sagat. He doesn’t have much fun against Balrog. Bison’s not too cool either. Dhalsim beats him too. Guile is ok against the shotos, but they can still out firepower him. I don’t see him liking Chun much either (I have just begun playing her for like 2 weeks).
He’s a mid tier character who has tools to not get absolutly killed by most people (unless they wear a mask or eyepatch). But he doesn’t have any really important counter matches.
Honda and O.Ken both have a big advantage, and I’d rather not fight Dhalsim, either.
